My 9 year old Frenchie recently developed a few scaly bumps/lumps on his back & sides. The skin was completely flaking off with a sore at the center of the bump & his hair was coming out. I immediately started researching to see what I could do in lieu of him taking any type of medication. I tried a few different homeopathic treatments & although they helped a bit, nothing made the lumps go away completely & they would flare right back up. I researched a bunch of different medicated shampoos on Amazon before deciding on this one & I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Since my dog is small (25 pounds) with short hair, I didn't want something that would be too strong & potentially cause adverse effects, but I still wanted a product with effective ingredients. This turned out to be that perfect "in between" product! I shampooed my dog & the lather was nice & rich. I worked the lather into his skin & coat for a good 5 to 10 minutes as directed before rinsing. I was expecting this to smell God awful, but it actually smells quite pleasant and fruity. It rinsed cleanly & easily with no weird film being left on his coat. He looked & smelled lovely after his bath just as if I had used a regular dog shampoo! It didn't dry his skin out or cause any other issues so this definitely doesn't seem to be toxic or overly harsh. Over the next few days, no further spots appeared & the active sores COMPLETELY healed, dried up, & are 90% diminished. I waited 5 days to bathe him with this again just to insure any remaining spots were treated. I will continue to monitor him for any new spots, but I am so relieved to have found a gentle treatment that actually works. If you are looking for a similar product that isn't going to hurt your dog, I can't recommend this enough. Please note, he did not have any spots on his head or chest. I did not & probably would not use this in that area (unless absolutely necessary and I would use extreme caution) as I would not want it to get near his eyes. This product saved my dog from suffering & me from worrying so I cannot recommend it enough!

I rarely write reviews, but this helped my golden retriever’s dandruff so much I just had to write one. She has been leaving flakes of dandruff all over our house for a long time and one good washing with this and it is all but gone! I am shocked at how quickly it worked. It is a little pricey for how much you need to use (especially on a large dog) but well worth the cost if you have a flakey pup.

I like this product. I've been using it for 2 weeks (twice a week) on my cocker spaniel and I'm seeing great results. He is prone to skins conditions like seborrhea and this product really controls the problem. It leaves his skin and coat shiny and soft and stops his constant scratching. I'm seeing gradual healing and far fewer outbreaks now. One small complaint, the product does have a nice citrus scent, but fades quickly so by the next day it smells more 'chemical'. It's not a horrible chemical smell but, I think, the result of the shampoo's active ingredients. The bottom line is I've paid far more for vet prescribed shampoos that don't work nearly as well. I'll be purchasing this product again.

My dogs can suffer from severe seborrhea and we continue to fight it despite 8 years of meds-prescription and herbal, shampoos, grooming, shots, etc. This product is a useful tool in managing her symptoms.

My little cream Frenchie had small hard bumps all over her body that would scab over and break open allowing bacteria in; black crusty skin folds that oozed and smelled; bald patches in her fur; and she also started losing the fur around her eyes. We tried every antibiotic, allergy shot, organic food, shampoo, topical cream, medicated wipe, laundry detergent, probiotic, supplement, etc. You name it — we tried it. NOTHING worked except for this shampoo. The results were obvious the next day. Her fur felt healthier, the inflammation in her bumps went down and her skin kept getting better and better. I started by giving her a bath every day for the first 5 days. As her skin started to heal I went to every 2-3 days, and by the end of the second week her bumps had dried up and receded in size. By week 3 the black skin folds started to dry up and heal and by week 4 the fur around her eyes and in her bald spots started filling in. She’s 3 but her skin literally looks and feels like a brand new puppy. This shampoo is magic. Definitely worth every penny and then some.
