I love this sink protector, it's working great to protect the base of my ceramic sink and this one is thick and it is very good quality in comparison to cheaper versions that I have purchased in the past yhat dall apart after use, this one is tough and will last a long time. So I'd definitely recommend this one for functionality and size, but unlike cheaper versions this one is not designed to be cut down and made to fit, so be sure to check the size for compatability with your own sink.

Although this doesn't cover the entire bottom of my sink, it's not in the least bit flimsy and still protects it from scratches and scrapes. When it arrived, the smell of the silicone was quite overpowering and even after a few months it was still pretty potent, however, I've had it for 5 months now and the smell has gone. It's easy to clean - I just wash it down as the sink's draining, rinse it with fresh water and prop it up overnight on the draining board.

This sink liner looks good and is well cushioned. It helps prevent damage to an expensive sink for only a few pounds. I bought two!

It saves sink from scratches

Yes it is a protective layer in your sink so therefore does the job of protecting from scratches & chips in the sink, However, it clogs up dirt in the holes, it's suction is pretty poor unless you press every single hole in the mat down on to the sink. It gets greasy very quickly and because food or coffee granules get stuck in the holes, you spend extra time at the sink cleaning it constantly every day. So I gave it 3 stars because technically it does what it is meant to do but I can see myself looking for a more expensive, no holes, that stays put in the sink mat. Until then shall keep using it.

Bought as replacement for the mat I had under my washing up bowl. This one is better quality than previous one.
