I love this portable cutlery set by Outerly. The metal case is durable and protects the cutlery. There is an inner lining which is silicone. The quality of the cutlery is exceptional due to it's stainless steel durability. The appearance is slim and sleek. The comfort is perfect. I am able to hold my utensils with ease. The knife looks short but it is sharp and it has its own silicone protector. I have no problem cutting through poultry or meats with the knife. I suggest for cleaning, handwash the utensils to keep it from getting scratched in the dish washer. Best of all, I like using my chopsticks option and the 🐢 as a utensil rest while eating. I bought one for myself and a friend. Love, love Outerly portable utensils. I get alot of compliments at work when I use them.

I just got my set today and took it out with me in my pocket. I do like the sturdiness of the pieces. The head of the fork and bowl of the spoon are full sized. You can actually eat soup with the spoon. The chop sticks have some grooves etched into the tips that will certainly make slippery noodles easier to hold onto. People have questioned the little turtle, but he seems to be a great little chop stick rest to me. The straw is arriving tomorrow, and I can’t wait to have all the items in one place! It is a bit heavy for EDC as it’s stainless steel, that does make them feel like regular table wear not a portable product in use. The screws did loosen up a bit during use. I’m still quite pleased.

Great size, sturdy materials. The spoon and fork do wobble a little bit while I eat - at the joint between the spoon and middle attachment, but I just tighten it as I go. About 1-2 times per meal. It seems like the long grey metal tool is meant to help tighten these joints, but it is impractical to use each time. I immediately threw away the plastic turtle inside immediately since I have no use for it, felt bad for contributing to more plastic waste. I wouldn't mind a flat paper or origami one instead.

What a cool product! I love how sturdy it feels and the little box it comes with. The chopsticks were a must for me and I really appreciated the turtle chopstick holder included. I got a second one for my dad. Fantastic value for the quality that you get, I’m beyond happy with these. I take them everywhere.

I use this kit on workdays and camping. I’m over sporks! I appreciate the compact design, the silicone dividers inside, and the length of the utensils when assembled. Easy washing, not a lot of issues with water getting caught in the parts. A minor con is the threads tend to need tightening during the meal.

Wonderful is the word to describe its functionality and compactness. Genius is the word to describe its designer. A fork, a knife, a spoon, and a pair of chopsticks all packed into a tin of the size of a pile of credit cards, i.e. the length and width of a credit card albeit being much thicker. It would be hard to get any better. If any, it would be the weight. Not that it is heavy, but it is always desirable for any EDC to be as lightweight as possible. A premium version, say built in titanium in lieu of stainless steel to save one third of the weight would be welcomed.

As a US infantryman space is everything in my pack, everything is heavyweight i carry. the light weight of this kit is a nice addition. The product is well made. Screws together well, try not to cross thread.. my only grief is the product was not made in the USA. I'm willing to pay more or re purchase for a USA made kit.. ( I get asked alot why I have a turtle with me when I use this kit in the feild)

It’s nicely made and well balanced and clever, but don’t buy it. The handles are hollow. Stuff gets in there and it’s a pain to clean. The threads are fiddly and it’s annoying to assemble everything. The case is a low quality mint tin and even with the silicone liner, everything rattles. You can use the chopsticks or the utensils, but can’t easily switch between both, because there aren’t enough handles for everything. The company’s straw is kind of a design disaster and doesn’t fit in the case. And this set is three times the price of a set that solves all the problems with these, and doesn’t pack much bigger.
