This misting system is worth its weight in gold. Definitely worth the money. Saves soooo much time not having to manually walk around and spray mist all of your enclosures. Especially when you keep a larger number of reptiles. I currently run two of these units. Will definitely be adding more in the near future.

Switching from the solo to the multi was the best change I have ever made. The large reservoir was super easy to set up and the amount of water it holds drastically decreases how often I have to fill it up. Definitely worth it

Sometimes a product is so bad it shouldn't be manufactured anymore, this is one such product. The Monsoon 2 is so bad that ExoTerra should truly examine their decision to put their name onto a product like this. Cons: - Did not pump water - After using another pump I had to prime the pump in this unit the water pressure provided was so bad I thought the product had a leak at the spray nozzle. Turns out, that leak is the maximum water pressure of the pump. - The price is too high for the pile of trash that comes in the box. - Instructions do not provide any solutions for problems that occurred with the unit. - Customer service/tech support does not exist Pros: - Easy to return

Great product for the money and it very quiet and it very easy to used the water is last for a while

Came with a nozzle that does not work. Bought a replacement and it works fine. Each nozzle drips as it sprays and doesn’t properly seal to its own elbow. For 200$ the quality is honestly pretty awful. Exo terra needs to rework this thing and step up their QC. Mist king are the same price. Will be buying those going forward.

When this system works, it works well. I’ve purchase this device 4 times in 4 years. One device was sent back because it didn’t function (that happens, I don’t have an issue with that). Two have each lasted two years, with the same flaw brining forth their demise. Very consistently, after about 20 months, water starts entering the upper mechanical/electrical area. You can religiously empty the leakage from the upper electrical area, but soon the electrical system starts to fail due to excessive moisture. This is not just condensation, but very large amounts of water. I now always place the unit in a container to catch the leakage - which will undoubtedly occur over time. I have also tried to repair each unit when it has stated leaking profusely and the electronics are failing - I haven’t been successful, but I’m no mechanical genius, so maybe others would be able to effectively fix this ongoing problem. The 4th purchase was today. Am I just stupid? A glutton for punishment? Possibly. I do feel like this is the best product of its kind when it is functioning, but you can do the math. Are you willing to spend $100 a year to have this function in your artificial/natural environment? I’m not sure I will purchase another unless ExoTerra makes a significant change to address what is probably a fairly simple fix. My guess is that they don’t have much competition, so they don’t have much motivation.

So far I am happy with the purchase. It does a good job of misting my chameleon's enclosure. Only issues I have are as follows: 1) the indicator lights for setting the duration and cycle length are so freaking bright. Literally blindingly bright, you can't even read the number next to the little indicator lights because they are so bright. They are so bright that they illuminate my entire room at night. If I wanted a night light I would have bought one. It may not bother some people but for me it is a serious design flaw. There is no reason or benefit to having those lights so freaking bright. 2) The settings only allow of setting the cycle period. So you can set it to go off every 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 hours. I don't want it misting the enclosure during the night. A feature that would add value to this product would be a setting that turned off the cycle during the night. The way it is: I have it plugged in to the timer switch for my lights. So it will shut off at night with the lights, but I have to set it each morning, which is not suitable for times when I am out of town for more then a day :( Besides that, it is a great way to provide water for my chameleon and keep the plants healthy and humidity up.
