Very impressive sound for the price. Still in daily use after 3-years.
I bought this as a gift for my son. As he is always losing things, I didn't want to invest a huge amount of money in a speaker for him. What I wasn't expecting, was the very high quality of the Soundcore3. It's a wonderful little bit of kit. The sound quality and volume is impressive for the price. It is rubber coated so it's quite durable, and the battery life is equally impressive. Three years on, he's still using it daily. I would highly recommend this for a budget friendly speaker for travelling, or just to use around the house.

Impressive for the size and price
Considering the price this is very good quality for the money and for the size it also has an impressive sound output which is more than capable of filling a large room at higher volumes. It's also quite weighty which only adds to the feel of its quality and I like the rubberised build which helps a lot when handling. I was impressed with just how easy it is to connect to bluetooth using my Google Pixel 6a phone as well as another bluetooth phone (Sony Z5) - and once the connection has been set up the unit and phone quickly connects the next time as soon as it recognizes that I have bluetooth turned on my phone. There is also an App which can be downloaded which allows for customisation of the equalizer and this is important because not everybody will want the extra bass boom (which this thing is more than capable of delivering!) that comes as 'factory' settings out of the box. In regards to the sound quality one must remember that these are small speakers in a small cabinet and therefore there is obviously some sort of trickery to make the audio output sound 'loud' and 'bassy' when required. Nevertheless, all in all, I have been happy with the audio tests that I've conducted using several different genres and, as long as one remembers that this is not 'hi-fi' equipment I can honestly say that I think most purchasers of this product will be more than happy with the sound it produces, especially as I think it is designed and marketed for a younger crowd who want 'beats' wherever it my be transported to. Also impressive is the battery life - I've had this playing at work over several days at a low to medium setting with a completely flat EQ setting (still more than bassy and loud enough in my office setting) and it has lasted for over 24 hours without needing a recharge. The App gives a more detailed battery life reading than just the white light on the unit changing to indicate when it needs a recharge. I can recommend this item wholeheartedly and would purchase again if ever I wanted a second one or replacement (but presuming that the build quality is a good indication that this is built to last at least a few years yet!).

Great Bluetooth Speaker for Classical Music
I recently bought the Anker Soundcore 3, and I am very happy with it. It works perfectly for listening to classical music, especially through Internet radio. Sound Quality: The sound is clear and detailed, which is great for classical music. You can hear all the instruments clearly, and the bass is balanced so it doesn’t overpower the other sounds. Even at high volume, the sound stays clean and does not distort. Design and Build: The speaker is small, light, and easy to carry. It looks modern and simple, which I like. It is also waterproof (IPX7), so I can use it in the kitchen or near water without worrying about spills. Battery Life: The battery lasts a long time, up to 24 hours. I can use it all day without needing to charge it. This makes it perfect for long listening sessions or for taking on trips. Connectivity: The Bluetooth connection is easy to set up and stays stable. I listen to Internet radio on my phone, and the sound plays perfectly through the speaker. It also works well in different rooms as long as I stay within range. Things to Know: The speaker does not have a microphone, so you cannot use it for phone calls. It does not have Wi-Fi or smart features, but for Bluetooth use, it is excellent. Conclusion: The Soundcore 3 is a great speaker for listening to classical music. It is easy to use, sounds great, and lasts all day. If you want a simple, high-quality Bluetooth speaker, this is a very good choice. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I recommend this speaker to anyone who enjoys clear, balanced sound for music. It’s great for classical music fans!

Good Speaker for Everyday Use
I’ve been using the Soundcore 3 by Anker for a few weeks, and it’s a reliable little speaker. The sound quality is surprisingly good for its size, with clear stereo sound and decent bass, thanks to the BassUp feature. It gets loud enough for small gatherings, and the PartyCast feature is a fun addition if you want to link multiple speakers. The battery life is impressive – I easily get around 24 hours of playtime on a single charge, which makes it great for taking on trips or using outdoors. Speaking of outdoors, the IPX7 waterproof rating is a bonus, so I don’t have to worry about it getting wet at the pool or in the rain. Bluetooth 5.0 provides a stable connection, and I haven’t had any issues with range or dropped connections. The customizable EQ is nice if you want to tweak the sound to your liking, though I’ve mostly stuck with the default settings. Overall, the Soundcore 3 is a good option if you’re looking for a portable, durable, and affordable Bluetooth speaker that delivers solid sound quality.

Excellent speaker and user control
I love the Soundcore 3 (S3) speaker. It has fantastic sound reproduction at a really low price. Initially, the speaker is configured to have a blinking light and sound effects when switching on/off or connecting to devices but these can be switched off, if you read the instructions very carefully. I finally decided to buy a dedicated BT speaker to save my portable Guitar amp from being abused for the role. Of all on the market, the Anker really stands out for features and price, plus, my daughter has had a Soundcore 2 (S2) for a few years and so I knew how good they were. In comparison with an S2, the S3 has improved bass and so I can listen to podcasts at lower volume. Phone calls are also excellent quality, with the ability to hold one call whilst answering another too, as with the S2. The app really takes this unit to another level as one can shape the sound or control the configuration, like turning off the sound effects. Through the app, one can activate a bass boost, for use only with the pre-configured soundscapes. However, I have found that, for podcasts, customising the sound with the EQ low levels raised is far more effective for getting a deep timbre. So, I won't be using the 'voice' setting. Physically, the S3 is larger than the S2. As a motorcyclist, who travels extensively and works from location to location, size is a critical logistical factor. I personally love the size of the S2 and think that were I to need the Aux in socket, which is removed on the S3, I would probably have bought it over the S3 for practical reasons. I think the rubber coating is possibly a little more robust too. What has been improved for the S3 are the buttons which require less pressure to activate and travel a shorter distance to those of the S2. These differences make using the speaker far more pleasant but, of course, only noticeable if comparing the S2 to the S3. Effects and turning them off --------------------------------- There are two effects used by the speaker when you first switch it on. A blinking white BT light to the right and sound effects when switching on, off or connecting to devices. I find both effects pointless and distracting so I was very pleased to learn they can be switched off. To do so, however, is not immediately obvious and so I thought I'd include the steps here. 1. Switching off blinking white light. To turn off, or rather switch light to stead blue, press and hold the BT symbol until the light turns blue. Repeat to go back to a white blinking light 2. Turn off all sound effects. You will require the app to turn off the sound effects which are activated when switching on or off the speaker, and when entering the various connection settings. Rather confusingly, the setting is called 'Voice prompt'. Turning 'Voice prompt' off will mute all effects. I think my confusion came when I associated 'Voice prompt' with electronic assistants, like Siri! Still, if you've read this far, you now know it is simply a poorly labelled feature. Summary ----------- The Soundcore 3 is a great BlueTooth speaker with excellent sound reproduction and great bass response for use with podcasts. The buttons and robust rubber exterior are enhanced from that of the previous model. It is also larger and more heavy that its predecessor. Whilst there are lighting and sound effects initially, these can be muted or switched off to minimise distractions. A great addition is the inclusion of a well thought out App to control the sound profile some config settings of the speaker.

Solid Bluetooth Speaker with Great Sound and Long Battery Life
I got this speaker because I'm a bit of an Anker loyalist, and because of my good experience with my previous Soundcore speaker (1st gen). The Soundcore 3 takes everything good about its predecessor and improves upon it. Primarily in terms of volume, clarity and bass output. While no one is going to mistake this for pedestal-mounted 15" drivers, for its size, it definitely puts out clear, distortion-free mids and highs and surprisingly punchy bass. It's compact enough to fit in a backpack. And with the rubberised casing and metal grill, it's very durable and can easily survive a quick dunk in a pool or in the rain without lasting ill effects. The Soundcore app makes assigning custom or preset equaliser as easy as can be expected. Being able to power off the speaker from the phone app is a nice touch. Oh! and you can have two Soundcores pumping out the same music by linking up a parent and child device to a single bluetooth source to fill a large room with sound. Nice feature that. There's a reason I tend to favour Anker products.

Incredible sound quality and bass!
These speakers are incredible! They deliver great sound and bass and last ages on a single charge. Pros: - Great bass. - Incredible sound. - Ability to connect multiple speakers together. - Long battery life. - 2 Passive radiators to add a lot more bass. - Solid construction made of rubber to protect against drops. - Can go super quiet without hearing the 'hiss' from the speakers operating. Cons: - The rubber material is a fingerprint magnet and slightly oily hands will leave annoying marks. - Only supports the basic SBC codec. - Noticeable delay if your using it for gaming or watching videos. (On Samsung devices you can offset the video and sound delay by downloading sound assistant from the Galaxy store and going to the 'Bluetooth metronome') This doesn't fix the gaming audio delay but it works well for videos. Conclusion: This speaker is incredible for the price and delivers amazing sound. If your looking for a speaker for gaming look elsewhere. However if your looking for a speaker to listen to music or watch videos on YouTube, Netflix etc, look no further!
