Great pom pom makers!These sturdy devices are easy to use, and produce a really good result.They work in 2 semi-circular halves, to wind the wool on, which is easy & quick. You then fold the parts in to make a circle, and then use embroidery scissors to cut round the ‘equator’ (as you would with the cardboard method) before securing with yarn around the ‘equator’. The pom pom maker can then be pulled apart, like 2 halves of a bagel, to release the pom pom!These smaller pom pom makers can be fiddly, and require a reasonable amount of hand strength & dexterity, (to hold the layers together when cutting the yarn).

These little PomPom Makers by Clover are just as nice as the big ones. So easy to use and they turn out so cute. I find myself making pompoms "just because"There is a point to make here. Expect to make a couple pompoms at first, all there after are perfect and fast to make. Beware: Crafting pompoms is a messy job, have a trash can next to you

I was excited to find these small pom pom makers…I didn’t even know they existed! The size is perfect for my pom pom noses and feet I add to my gnomes. As with all the Clover products I have used, the maker is very good quality and very durable. I put the the pom pom makers under a lot of stress as I tie and knot the yard that attaches each side of the pom pom. The pom poms are very fast to make and they are always a perfect shape. This is definitely not an issue with the product, but a hint for crafters, I made several test pom poms to get the center yarn/thread not to be as noticeable. Overall, I am very happy with the product and would highly recommend it.

I bought this pom pom maker to make pom poms for the hats I crochet. It's easy to use (especially if you look up a youtube tutorial first!) and I really like the tight yet fluffy pom poms I can make with it. I tried other methods, but this one works. It so easy to use, my 8 year old loves to make pom poms too.Tip: To tie your pom pom really well at the end of the process, use a length of dental floss (instead of yarn) and pull as hard as you can then knot it around the center of the yarn. I like to make a second round with the floss, tying it off on the opposite side of the first knot. (This will make sense after you learn how to use the pom pom maker.) I use yarn to finish these off and fasten these to the hats I make, but dental floss doesn't break and can be pulled really tight to hold all that yarn in place at the center of the pom pom. If need be, wrap the dental floss around two wooden spoon handles or dowels, it will enable you to pull it extra tight without hurting your hands as much. :)
