20M - Quality Everlasto 'Wyercentor' Steel Core Coloured Clothes/Washing Line 3.5mm Thick (GREEN)

👚 This is a review for 20M - Quality Everlasto 'Wyercentor' Steel Core Coloured Clothes/Washing Line 3.5mm Thick (Green) ⚠️ First of all, this is not your standard cheap and nasty washing line it has a steel core, which means there's a strong piece of metal running through it to stop it from snapping. In essence, this is pretty much indestructible, and unless you take a set of wire cutters to it, it's not going to snap on you, at least not for a very, very long time, and should stand the test of the lovely British weather. 📦 The item came well packaged, and the packaging on this occasion was not too excessive. Things I like: ✔️ Strong, durable thick plastic underpinned by a steel core. ✔️ 20M length means it's suitable even for the biggest gardens. ✔️ 3.5mm thickness, offers more protection and ensures the washing line will last longer. ✔️ Comes in a range of different colours and sizes. ✔️ Excellent and cheap replacement. We have 3/4 of ours still rolled up, meaning if it does break, we can easily replace it another 3 times, which makes it excellent value for money. ✔️ UPVC coating also means it can be wiped with a cloth to remove any dirt etc. ✔️ Has not snapped under a line full of soaking wet towels (the really thick bushy ones) they must have weighed about 10kg when wet. Things I don't like: ❌ This does not come with any fixtures/fittings/brackets etc. It is literally just the washing line, so make sure you have what you need before buying. ❌ Different colours cost more; I can't really see a reason for this. I feel as though the seller may just be trying to charge more for the more popular colours. So if you prefer practicality over everything being colour coordinated, then go for the cheapest colour (which at the moment is green). ❌ The plastic casing will likely eventually crack. However, the line will likely still not snap, but plastic that's under strain will eventually develop cracks and may come off, meaning you will eventually need to replace it. ❌ There is no stretch within the wire (likely because of the steel core frame). This means you're going to need the correct length because you won't be able to stretch it those extra few centimetres. While that may seem like a bad thing, it means the washing line is stronger and more durable as a result. The bottom line: 🔻 Are you sick and tired of those really thin washing lines breaking or snapping on you? Do you have to change your washing line more often than you change your socks? If so, then get one with a steel core like this one. For the price and length of this, it's a no-brainer, it's been going strong for well over a month now, and in that time, we've had 40-degree heat, thunderstorms and torrential rain, and it's still standing the test of time, just need a bit of wind, hail and snow to finish the set. 😊 Reviews like this one always help me to make a purchase decision. Why did you choose this product over others?: I ordered this washing line when my old one gave way in the recent heat. It was easy to cut to size and tie easily to my fittings, creating a new sturdy strong line for my washing. It offered great value for money compared to some expensive ones listed. Our twenty year plus washing line broke suddenly a few days ago and so needed one urgently. This product is almost if not identical and so ordered 20 Metre length of the green variety. I used Amazon because of fast delivery and it came on time. But unfortunately Blue line was supplied instead. I needed it so put it up. It's good and strong and will see me out. However the colour jars against a green background and so will have to reorder which is a shame and an unnecessary expense. It a good well made product nevertheless.

Strong and foes the job

Stronger wire core than Minki but the pvc outer split exposing the inner wire which will corrode in time, Maybe because I am using an American style washing line system which grips the line with 3 stainless steel ball in a housing, have used this type of line since 2013 with no problem but just lately the pvc appears split. Still looking for a larger diameter line that will do the job.

It's a line for hanging out washing. In all honesty I got it to tie up a bit of fence that had fell down in the wind, it worked, very strong.
