How many yards is this?

I checked the skein I have- approximately 108 yards.

What is the yarn weight? Hoping it is a "5" as that is what my pattern calls for. Or, is it close? Thanks!

It is supposed a #6 but if you compare it to Lion Brand Hometown USA #6, for example, it is noticeably thinner. It seems to be the same thickness of some #5 yarns I have at home.

will this work for making speed tufting rug?

I don’t do that craft but I would think that it would work. It is a dense yarn. If you like acrylic for that rug and I think it would work. I personally would rather have cotton. I’m working on an Afghan right now, it’s going to take an awful lot of skeins And I like being able to buy those two at a time… That way I don’t have to buy $100 worth right off the bat. I can buy a little at a time. For me it’s working out great. I do love the yarn and it is actually going to be more of a blanket afghan, instead of a lighter weight.

my blanket calls for 8 skeins. how many of these rolls equals that?

1 skein makes a scarf on my straight loom of about 8" X 75". Hope this helps.
