Amazon Grocery, Ground Mustard, 16 Oz

I love the Amazon ground mustard. It is, well, of course, mustard. I use it for my meatloaf, mayo and other savory dishes such as cheeseburger soup.The taste is very good, easy to use with the pour cap or spoon opening. Not had any issues from previous purchases for going bad or developing a rancid taste. Great quality.

Bought this to make a spicy mustard spread.It came out perfectly and boy it was spicy, love it!!

Okay, okay okay... I purchased this mustard powder in a giant container to fight against the invasion of the Japanese jumping worms which is an invasive species in our section of the country (USA). Sprinkling it on the soil then very lightly watering brings them up to the surface writhing so that you can remove them. It is a disturbing sight by but it is one of the only ways to quickly get them out of your soil for proper disposal. I know it is a strange reason for ordering dried mustard but if I purchase the little containers at the grocery it would have been much too expensive and this was much more economical.

This is a great deal . Nice clean taste . I bake beans a lot and I use this dry mustard in them . Also good for home made dressing , to many way to use to list . Just great pantry item .

I use this to make bulk mixes. It seems a touch bland but when combined with other ingredients, there's not much difference from other brands. This certainly is a dollar saver when making large amounts of rubs and seasonings.

Bought this because I wanted to save money on ground mustard. The smaller containers are outrageously priced in comparison, so the value can't be beat. I'm hoping this will keep for a long time in the cabinet. Makes great hot Chinese mustard for char siu, really feel the burn all the way around your head with this one. Size of the container is great, just need to find more uses for mustard powder. Flavor/aroma are great though.

I bought this when I couldn't find Coleman's online at a fair price. I wanted some old fashioned Chinese Hot Mustard. It worked out great and saved a bundle.If you enjoy Chinese style hot mustard for dipping egg rolls, chicken nuggets or whatever, this works great. Take a shot glass of this mustard and pour it into a shallow ramekin like dish (I wouldn't use a metal dish). Then fill the shot glass with rice wine vinegar (or whatever type you have on hand) and make a paste with the powder. Let that sit covered tightly for or a few hours at minimum or overnight. Then add 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of salt to the shot glass and fill it with cold water and mix well. Pour the salt water into the mustard paste and mix well (adjust the consistency of the end product by using more or less salt water). This mixture will easily last for days. And it is HOT!You could experiment with different vinegars. And I also used the salty juice from stuffed olives instead of plain salt water for subtle taste differences.You can also mix a teaspoon of this mixture with 1/4 cup of mayo for a zesty sandwich spread.
