This product makes it easy to charge microphones or bodypacks without the need to replace batteries. Simply placing the device on the charging station initiates charging. The charging status is indicated by a red light, which turns green once fully charged, and charging automatically stops. One important thing to remember is that after full charging, the battery may slowly discharge over time if left on the station, so it's recommended to remove it once charging is complete.

So happy with this purchase. I was using a single charger for my batteries but now I can charge batteries in the actual mic and that is very convenient for me with all my gigs! Thank you Shure!

Works great. A quick charger. In 1 hour my mic was charged for 4 hrs of use.

When the talent comes up and asks me how long their batteries will last I can point to my receivers and say, "See for yourself," and it shows in hours and minutes. You can charge the battery naked, in a beltpack or in a mic handle. That is cool, so you can keep a spare battery in the charger ready to go in case you don't have time charge and need to do an immediate change out. I do work on some telethons that go 12 hours+, so this happens. I have two of these chargers, and I did link them together. They work perfectly off of one power supply. What would make it better? As it is made, each charge port has two lights, a green and a red. When the battery reaches 90% charge, the green and red illuminate at the same time. At 100%, the red goes off and the green stays on solid. Okay, that's neato, but for Pete's sake, a $20 battery charger puts meters on every charger port. At this price, Shure could surely (?) afford to put an led meter or even a percentage meter on every port of the charger. I have purchase a used one of these and the contact pins where the handle contacts make their contact have been bent beyond usability. This is possible when people put the mic in the charger base and twist it around instead of lining it up and then putting it in the charger. That's a tougher problem to solve as the mic handles housings would also need to be re-engineered to make it so that the mics would not start to go in the hole until they are lined up.

Like most sure items this part of the SLX-D system is a quality piece. The batteries and charger are genuine Shure products as perform like them. I am currently using the system for 2 lapel mics but will be adding 2 handhelds soon.

no hay opcion de cargar las baterias solas, tienes que colocar a fuerza la bateria en el microfono.. adios baterias desechables!!!!!
