Dr. Martens Womens 1460 Pascal Leather 8 Eye Boot

Wow what a surprise. Right out of the box I was 100% sure they will be too small. They looked so tiny, cute, not bulky. With my wide feet I did not believe they will fit. Well... I put them on and they are perfect, soft and comfy. Also hiding my wide feet and fat calves. I had no idea army like boots can make you look skinier ;-) I wear size 8.5 and ordered 8w. Thank you :-) Update: After walking in them for 2 hours today I can honestly say they will not need a breaking period I was afraid to after reading all the Dr Martens scary reviews about bloody ankles and weeks in pain. And let me tell you I need breaking period in every shoe except tennis shoes. These fit like gloves. My first pair of Martens and I am hooked!!!

Order a size 6 for my gf. Used her 7.5 amzn basic zip boots as a comparison. They didn't fit. Later on that day, we went to a Doc Martens store and asked for a 7 in the same style. They offered two versions of the same boot for her to try on. One was a wider fit, and that was the pair she was more comfortable in. Great boots for someone who might not want to spend a lot of time working them in. Lighter weight too. I've own a few pairs myself. The leather is quite durable and good for most all situations.

Very comfortable. I'm 5'5" and weigh 116 lbs. I don't have large ankles so I don't have an issue with this problem some as others have stated. Leather is super soft and the size was accurate.

I have now owned these for over 4 months. I will say, I was skeptical. I have always wanted a pair of Docs but didn't want the "rub" or have to break them in. Well, these didn't require the pain of either. I wore these for the first time to a festival in almost freezing weather. My feet didn't hurt one bit the entire day and they were nice and toasty. I have worn these boots for hours working long shifts on my feet. Extra bonus points because they are non-slip for all of my restaurant workers!! I love the fit and support I get from these.

I wear an 8 in most boots (7&1/2 shoe) and got the size 8 which fit perfect and a small bit of room left for warm socks although they are nice and warm with regular socks, so I am very happy with them. Being a boot freak and always wanted a pair of DocMs I am very thrilled that they didn’t need any breaking in, the leather is so soft on the tongue and around the calf. My pics make them look huge but they arent its just the angle. Very much worth every penny.

I want to leave a solid review here because it took me some time to purchase these and I read numerous reviews prior to. Sizing is confusing, I wear an 8.5 womens. I went with the 8W (not to be confused with Wide, the W stands for womens). I sized down because I didn't want extra room in my boot. I tend to prefer my shoes on the tighter side, plus I was concerned the extra room would cause blisters from friction and movement (as my Frye boots did when I ordered a size up). These boots are BEAUTIFUL. Exactly as I remembered from my pair I owned in high school. They fit tight on first wear, especially where the tongue meets the boot (the seam). So I wore wet wool socks for 3 hours in them to soften em up and form them to my feet. My left foot a slightly bigger than my right so this shoe fits tighter but not horribly uncomfortable at all. I wore them with regular socks last night for 5 hours and they fit AWESOME already. No discomfort at all. Super fast and easy to break in when it comes to a leather boot. My Fryes took months to break in and quite honestly, they still aren't nearly as comfortable at these. I'd feel confident wearing these all day or to walk around in alot. LOVE LOVE THEM.

Definitely authentic Dr.Martens boots. Leather was perfect and comfortable. Read other reviews that said to size down. I’m generally an 8.5, and purchased the 8. With thin socks, they’re fine. However the stitching at the bottom of the laces makes the boot very tight in that area, and I can’t wear thicker socks or the shoe digs into the tops of my feet. I also have pretty narrow feet and they fit me just right in width - something to keep in mind for others purchasing. Wish I would have gone with a 9 instead. Overall, great boots though.

My wife had earlier purchased a pair of these boots in lilac and I bought her a second pair in black as surprise. She has a history of neuropathy following extensive chemo and now finds it difficult to identify shoes and boots that are both comfortable and attractive. These Doc Martens are perfect. The leather is very soft and the support is excellent. She looks very chic in them, more than I would have expected. I have exceptionally wide feet and only wish that they made extra wide sizes in men so that I could buy myself a pair. My strongest recommendation if you are looking for boots for three seasons.

Ho sempre amato le dr Martens perché sono una certezza Qualità, robustezza, stile senza tempo...dalle prime che ho comprato 35 anni fa ad oggi sono sempre di moda e non tra monteranno mai. Me le scambio anche con mia figlia che per fortuna ha il mio stesso numero. Ho il 40 ma le ultime erano 41 e con gli anni si erano allargate un poco Comunque super comode bastava mettere una calza più grossa. Questa volta ho voluto prendere il numero giusto per me cioè 40 anche perché c'era un'offerta eccezionale. Purtroppo al metterle le ho trovate veramente molto strette. Non mi sono persa d'animo ed ho cercato sul web vari consigli per allegarle. Dal sacchetto di plastica con dell'acqua per poi metterle in congelatore così che il ghiaccio aumentando di volume le allargasse, ma dicevano anche che congelare la pelle si sarebbe potuta rovinare. Altra opzione era scaldarle con il phon ma stando molto attenti alla temperatura, e non volendo rischiare ho pensato di scaldarle mettendo una di quelle buste con il gel (per caldo o ghiaccio) nel microonde a temperatura media per una ventina di secondi. Quando è diventata medio calda l'ho messa in un tovagliolo ed infilata ben dentro. Ho atteso 15 Min circa per fare ammorbidire la pelle. Dopodiché mi sono messa 3 calzettoni grossi in ciascun piede e le ho messe su. Cammino a casa con gli stivaletti tutto il tempo che posso. Ebbene dopo 3 GG si sono notevolmente allagate ed adesso sono perfette. Pronta per uscire con i miei stupendi stivaletti super comodi.

Schneller Versand und Lieferung! Für mich fällt der Schuh kleiner aus. Ich trage normalerweise Schuhgröße 39 und habe mir den Schuh in 40 bestellt. Beim ersten Anprobieren fühlte er sich schon etwas eng an. Aber in 41 wäre er für mich zu groß gewesen. Ein Schuh für schmale Füße! Ich trage den Schuh jetzt seit einer Woche und habe mir an der Ferse schon schöne Blasen durch die Naht gerieben aber ich merke das sich der Schuh weitet und immer bequemer wird. Trotz des weichen Leders muss man bei diesem Schuh durch die Einlaufphase. Es sind nicht meine ersten Docs und die anfängliche Quälerei nehme ich gerne in kauf. Ich trage den Schuh privat und auf der Arbeit, sie sehen zu allem gut aus und der Schuh ist auch überhaupt nicht klobig. Man hat immer trockene und warme Füße. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

I have been wearing Docs for 30years and I have found them increasingly difficult to wear in. The last pair I got crippled me and caused bunions and I didn't want to go through that again. I found these women's Virginia boots in a shop and noticed the leather was very soft unlike ordinary Docs then read some Reviews on Amazon that said they are easier to break in. So I took the plunge and ordered some from Amazon (at least £30 cheaper than in shops). I'm glad I got the as they are very comfortable and have hardly needing breaking in at all although I did have a little discomfort in one foot after a few hours of walking around in them on the first day but think that this is because of the bunions caused by my last pair of docs. With my last pair of Docs it was months of trying to break them in before I could go out of the house in them at all. I find the sizing Quite big for women's foot wear, I tried them on in a shop first which I would recommend. I am a size 8 normally in women's shoes bout the size 8 in these were too big, but the 7 was too small. I got the size 8 and wear with some insoles and thick socks that makes them even more comfortable and good for winter. My Docs normally last me about 2 years so I will have to wait and see how longs these with the soft leather last but even if they last half as long as standard Docs I will still be pleased that I got these.
