Marconi Giardiniera Hot, 32 oz

Same stuff I'm used to from Chi-town. Good stuff!

I like everything in the package. There is value in this size. A delicious mix of crunch and prodigious heat. The only thing I do not like is the soy oil and the calories from it. This stuff is loaded with calories from soy oil. For that reason I use it more sparingly that I would prefer because the taste is so exquisite. Beware of the soy oil as it is not the best for our health from everything I have read. There are giardiniera brands made with olive oil so look around, though olive oil has the same mega calories, even though it is more healthy fat than from soy oil. There are a few giardiniera mixes made with vinegar as the pickling ingredient, but those products all have much larger pieces and additional ingredients. Their flavor profile is also different and they are not spicy. Those others are best as an accompaniment as opposed to a topping. In conclusion, this giardiniera tastes wonderful, has lots of heat, is great as a topping or mixed in so many dishes from salads to soups to stir frys. Use your imagination, but be mindful of the high calories from not so healthy oil.

The Best! Packs some heat but really flavorful..use for homemade Italian Beef Sandwiches. So good. Great value in purchasing larger version and last a long time!! If you are sensitive to to much heat, get the mild or medium level.

I ordered this pepper-vegetable "relish" to fulfill the need of a recipe. Turns out it's now one of my favorite accompaniments to salads, vegetable dishes, soups, stews, dressings you name it. This al dente veggie in oil product is as tasty as it is versatile. It arrived a little late (1 day) but was incredibly well wrapped and protected in its delivery box.

I like spicy things and this does not disappoint. It's very consistent in taste and texture and keeps well in the fridge for months. So far I've purchased this size four times in the last year. My main complaint is the lid not having a secondary seal and being made of a relatively brittle plastic that doesn't always survive the brutality of the USPS shipping system with the minimal bubble wrap Amazon provides. Usually the ring cracks. Most of the time no product is impacted but still they could do better for the price. Other sizes often have metal lids. So far, two of the four jars ordered have arrived with cracked lids. I did find the lid off the Blue Plate 30oz Mayonaise Amazon sells does fit well as a replacement lid. I'd rate it a 5 on the product but downrate it due to the realities of the product packaging and durability.

So good I wish it was hotter if I have to be honest, there are different heat levels I picked this one thinking it would be too hot but it’s perfect and the peppers are nice and crunchy in a good way definitely a value for money

Bought to put on Italian beef sandwiches but my MIL now puts it on everything!! Adds a nice heat level and delicious crunch to so many dishes. Where we live it’s hard to find things like this in the grocery store but it’s a great price on here! We’ll be ordering more shortly!!
