I use this cable with my DJ mixer, and it provides a reliable connection to USB-C devices. The 3.3-foot length is convenient without creating excess cable clutter, and the connectors fit securely. It is useful for linking compatible mixers, MIDI equipment, printers, and other USB-B devices to newer laptops or tablets. A practical, well-made cable for my DJ setup.

5 stars for what I needed this cable for. Using it for a Toyota Mongoose cable replacement, the OEM cable while better build quality, only comes in USB B to USB A and still shorts out after some time.This cable seems to be a bit quicker for connections, longer and has USB C eliminating the need for A to C adapter.

This cable is excellent for connecting up your older devices to newer devices especially Mac computers. No need for a dongle to attach it to USB type C. The speeds are exactly what you would expect. I have seen no issues in compatibility. I’ve used it with both Mac and PC. The cable seems to be a high-quality and I have been using it for a few years now without any complaints. The cable is a matte black, which I quite like. Very good quality for the money. Highly recommended.

I bought this cable to use with a USB DAC, I got the USB C to USB B. I've had expensive cables in the past but I have found a few good companies that make excellent cables for a fair price and this is one of them. The cable feels robust and has a nice soft jacket that feels noticably better than the cheap feel of average cables. Both ends have a very nice gold plating, which I consider a necessity in any cable when being used in an audio system. The connectors feel very nice and have an extra piece of jacket or heat shrink coming out of the end over the regular jacket for extra durability. Cable matters and cable creations are both excellent companies for random digital or extra cables/splitters and I also highly recommend blue jeans cable for analog cables (speaker and rca/xlr cables). You can connect a whole high end audio setup together with these three companies for a completely fair price and you will be as well off or even better off than going with expensive boutique cables.

This company consistently produces good quality product at fair prices. I probably have purchased 10 of their different cables for different connections and applications over the years that said the cable gauge itself seemed disappointingly thinner than what the picture seems to convey, but I will trust this brand until they prove me wrong.

I ordered a USB-C to -A cable from Cable Matters with fulfillment (packing and shipping) by Amazon from one of their warehouses. A couple of days later I received an empty envelope--no cable or packing slip or anything. I contacted Cable Matters via email and explained the situation. I received a very nice reply from Chelsea saying that since fulfillment was by Amazon I should contact them at the phone number she supplied or via their contact page.I tried the number and got a message that, due to COVID-19, they weren't answering phone calls. I tried to do a "return for replacement" but no matter what option I selected the Amazon web page insisted that I return the missing product. Duh! I then tried their automated "chatbot" but twice ended up waiting endlessly for it to return from a "Give me a minute to check on that" reply.I gave up and contacted Cable Matters and explained the "Catch 22" I had encountered. Chelsea immediately replied, asking for my shipping address, saying that they would ship a cable directly to me from their stock. I complied and a short time later the cable was on its way to me.Thanks, Cable Matters and Chelsea. It's refreshing to find an Amazon partner merchant that truly accepts their customer's problem as their own.As for the cable, it's excellent quality and it works. What else can I say?

This 1-meter USB-C to USB-B 2.0 cable works perfectly to allow an SDRPlay RSP1A Software Defined Radio (SDR) to work connected to a Microsoft Surface Pro 9's USB-C port. The SDRUno and SDRconnect programs both recognize and connect to the RSP1A SDR. Also, adequate power is supplied to the RSP1A SDR via the cable. If this is your use case, and you're looking to eliminate the use of a USB Hub to connect the RSP1A (or the newer RSP1B, which also has a USB-B 2.0 port), this is the cable for you.

I needed a cable to connect my AlphaSmart 3000 keyboard (remember those? They date from the last century) to my new Mac. I use the AlphaSmart to write brief notes when I don't want a light-up keyboard to disrupt my diurnal rhythms, such as keying in notes from a fencing lesson late at night. It's also very light, so good to take on long trips or hikes. Anyway, the cable that the now-defunct company furnished to allow me to download text to my computer ends in a USB-B connector, and my new Mac has a USB-C socket. I figured I'd never find a cable that would directly connect my dear old AlphaSmart to my Mac. I thought I'd need one of those awkward USB-C to USB-C cables. But I found it! I had to look carefully at the pictures to make sure the plus was exactly right, but i ordered it, it was inexpensive, it arrived the next day, and when I went to connect the two devices, it worked perfectly. Cool!

If you are like me and love your Bose Companion 5 speakers and want to use them with a new Mac Studio you have a problem. The USB B to USB A connection may work sometime but, you soon experience that you have to constantly unplug and plug in the the USB A connector. This gem of a cable is the fix to your problem. Unfortunately you will have to use one of your Thunderbolt 5 slots.
