can this material be cut, drilled and tapped? I need to make a fixture of high temperature material such as this

I’d recommend a wet tile / brick saw with a diamond blade for cutting them. You could probably use a carbide drill bit to bore out a hole, if you keep the work wet. I seriously doubt you could tap threads in it that would hold very well… it’s a masonry unit, so tensile strength is fairly low, but compressive strength is very high.
