worthwhile upgrade
Bought this a few years ago after having surgery because I couldn't lift more than ~5-10lb for the first little while after recovery and I figured that meant I shouldn't press too hard on my tamper either. My parents recommended I get one of these and I still use this thing every day. Great quality and way easier than using the tamper my espresso machine came with!

Good for coffee distribution
Made solid, distributed well. And that was the entire purpose. For tamping however, since I use 18 grams of medium roasted fresh beans, it does not reach the surface of the coffee on the portafilter, despite I adjusted its height.
