Can you record 3 different sounds and then select a sound to play by pushing a button or are you limited to just one sound?

You can’t record with this board. You can preload 8 different sounds and select which one to be played by grounding any of pins 0-7. You could do this with 8 buttons or use a micro controller to control which sound is played.

could this board be used to provide a time delay between microphone and speaker to prevent feedback howl in a public address system?

You pre-record sounds or audio clips to the board. When the board receives a low signal (I use a micro controller with this board to trigger it) it will play the pre-recorded noise/sound/message on the pin you set up.

Can I use it with mac OS?

Yes. I had no issues with the Mac OS
