PrepWorks Decorating Kit - Complete Set for Cake, Cupcake, and Cookie Decorating with Piping Tips, Bags, and Accessories

Unique product that can't be found anywhere else. I looked for these at hobby stores that sold cake decorating items. Most stores sell the piping bags with tips. Since I'm not skilled in cake decorating, I think these will give me beautiful results. Great for beginners like me who want to make cakes for upcoming family birthdays. I have not tried them yet but I think the frosting bulbs will perform well. Theses are pricey, but you'll buy them once. Frosting bulbs will last much longer than piping bags because they are made of thick, squeezable, rubber material. Easy to clean and use.

I have this in my cabinet for quite a while but hadn’t used it. Today I broke it out to decorate some cupcakes. This decorate is easy to use, easy to clean and I will be using it more. A tip-push you icing all the way in to the bulb to let air escape, fill with hot soapy water and let sit a few minutes and cleans up nicely I have never been able to make “cute” cupcakes until today❤️

This kit is easy enough to use and it's fairly simple to get the icing into the bags. However, I noticed that when using the larger cupcake frosting applicator, it sometimes blew air while piping, which would interrupt the icing flow and mess up the design. This was frustrating when trying to get a clean, consistent look on cupcakes. On the other hand, the smaller tips worked much better—especially for more detailed designs like gingerbread cookies. I’ve only used this kit for home baking (nothing professional), and for casual decorating, it gets the job done. I do like that it's reusable and generally convenient, but the inconsistency with the larger tips affects the overall experience. Good enough for us, but probably not ideal for more advanced or professional use.

Prepworks by Progressive 8-Piece Frosting Bulb Decorating Kit is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted some frosting bulbs, but couldn’t find good ones anywhere. These are so much easier than a frosting bag. Just fill it up, put the cover and the tip of your choice on, and squeeze! It’s simply amazing. No more frosting popping out of holes in bag or coming out of the top of the bag. Also, this is these are very easy to clean. I thought it might be a little hard, but it isn’t. I use these with my metal Wilton tips. They fit fine. The 6 tips that come with these frosting bulbs are the same size as regular metal Wilton frosting tips. I can now use my many fancy designs of Wilton frosting tips without frosting getting all over. It stays in the bulb and only comes out when squeezed. I like that it comes with 2 bulbs, not just one, because that means I can use more than one color at a time. Each bulb comes with its own plastic piece to hold the frosting tip in place. And best of all, you can change the tip while you’re using it. It isn’t like a bag, where you have to put the tip through the whole bag. The tips screw onto these bulbs from the outside, which makes it much easier to change tips when you’re in middle of using a color. I am beyond satisfied with this product and would highly recommend to others.

This silicone bulb is such an innovative idea and seemed like it would be an easy way to ice cupcakes. However, it requires a great amount of squeezing the bulb and as a 68-year old, my hand hurt after about 5 minutes and I had only done about a dozen cupcakes. I actually bought a second set of these for my sister, who is 75, but I'm going to return that order and give her one of mine instead. My icing was not thick. Any thinner and it wouldn't hold any shape so it wasn't the icing. It's just really hard to keep squeezing to get the icing out.

I love these little bulbs to decorate with. They are a good quality and much easier than using a bag. Ghey are easy to clean which is a big plus.

I bought these little frosting bulbs because I decided I was done with piping bags, and I am not disappointed. These bulbs solve every issue I had using the bags! They're easy to fill, easy to assemble, and easy to use. I've seen some reviews complaining that they cause bubbles or breaks in the frosting, but I haven't had that problem. I just give the bulb a little shake when it's upside down to make sure that the frosting all goes to the tip. My only complaint is that they're pretty small, so when I'm frosting cupcakes, I have to stop and refill after 4 cupcakes or so, which can be annoying. However, the pros far outweigh the one con for me. Plus these are so much easier to clean than frosting bags! Baking is just a hobby for me, so I can't speak for the usefulness of these bulbs in a professional setting, but for me, they do the trick.

These bottles are seriously a major game changer for cookie decorating!! I use them to decorate sugar cookies with royal icing. I run a small at-home bakery business and on the weeks where I have 80+ cookies to make, by hand would dead from all the squeeze bottle squeezing...I wanted a solution that was more comfortable and this is it!!! They are SO much easier on the hands than traditional plastic squeeze bottles, it's almost like squeezing a stress ball. At first I wished they were a bit larger to hole more icing at a time, but after using them I am very happy with the size because they are the perfect size to comfortably hold in your hand and I don't mind refilling them more often because it is SO easy to do so. They are SUPER easy to fill, refill, empty, clean, and they air dry pretty quickly. They also work with all of my piping tips. I was worried that too much pressure on the bottle might cause the top to pop off, but that is not the case, at least with my royal icing...I am not sure about buttercream frosting. My only regret was just ordering one set- haha! I just ordered 3 more sets...can't wait!!!

These are truly amazing. No more struggling to was piping bags, or plastic bags plating. These are so easy to use abc washing is a breeze. Absolutely love these and don’t understand why it took me so long to find.
