As a home studio artist, I need my gear to communicate flawlessly. Time to create is precious. Nobody wants to spend time troubleshooting when they could be creating. I purchased this cable based on my experience with CalDigit products over the years. My studio centers around a UAD Apollo x6 thunderbolt interface - consider it the heart and my computer the brain. You want those two things connected and working. Installation was simple - it's a cable, after all. It took seconds to connect the audio interface to my computer. I was creating tracks within minutes of startup. Here I am, over 1.5 years later, telling you that this cable has performed exactly as it should - and worth every penny spent. Is it a little pricier than some that are available here? Yes. But, what is your time worth? You plug it in, and it just works. No lagging - transferring high res audio and plugin processing using the interface's DSP. Nice build quality - it feels substantial. It feels like a quality cable. Summary: this cable has performed for me, and is worth your hard earned dollars.

Well… because you have a Caldigit and you didn’t realize that it didn’t come with the cable, because you bought it off some dude on eBay. Anyways, does the job, good quality. I have the TS3, works great.

I have an external NVME drive that is capable of speeds up to 1GB/s read and write. Sadly the cable that came with it was only 6 inches in length, and my only type C port is on the rear I/O of my Motherboard. I was routinely looking for something over the last few months and stumbled across this cable. It fits the bill for exactly what I need. I was even able to exceed the speeds of the included cable and saw just under 1.1GB/s. I had tried multiple cables, but none could operate at the speeds of the supplied one. This at least allows me to place it on the top of my case or my desk now where I can easily access or connect my phone and Steam Deck for high speed data transfers. I'm quite happy with the purchase and if you're at all concerned with speeds, since it's Thunderbolt 4, you shouldn't have any problems with a bottleneck, be it for data transfer reasons or using it as an alternative to DisplayPort or HDMI for supported GPU's and Monitor's.

Expensive but is reviewed as being the best. You get what you pay for and sometimes it’s not worth going cheap. This cable works as advertised and reviewed. Very happy!

The cable was used when i paid for new. The packaging was opened and taped shut. I did get a refund, and was able to keep the cable. It does work fine. I can recommend the cable, but the fact it was used was a bit sketchy. But that's on Amazon, not CalDigit.

These cables work very well. I have not had any problems with compatibility or speed. At times I wished they were longer, yet good, high quality product at a fair price

J’avais besoin d’éloigner mon MacBook Pro de sa station d’accueil CallDigit TS3+ d’au moins 2 mètres, pour le rapprocher de moi et aucun câble jusqu’à présent n’avait fonctionné à cette distance. Comme j’en avais marre de les renvoyer, je me suis donc décidé à prendre celui-là (bien plus cher) et là…Alléluia !!! ENFIN tout ce qui est branché sur ma TS3+ fonctionne : l’alimentation du MacBook Pro, mes 3 écrans externes, ma carte son externe, etc… sans aucune perte de quoi que ce soit. Alors bien sûr qu’il est plus cher, mais c’est le seul câble de 2m qui marche avec ma config. Moralité, le pas cher est finalement toujours trop cher. Alors si vous êtes dans mon cas, n’hésitez pas avec celui-là. C’est que du bonheur ! J’espère que mon commentaire vous aidera. Que Dieu vous bénisse 🙏

the cable works and I believe that you get what you pay for , buy a cheap cable and pray it works , purchase a quality cable and see the difference

Das Kabel hat alles was man sich wünschen kann wenn man den Preis zahlen will: + Thunderbolt 4 (was im Ggs. zu Thunderbolt 3 Features kombiniert, welche sonst entweder-oder Entscheidungen waren. E.g Thunderbolt 3: 40 GB/s oder >1m Länge, bei Thunderbolt 4 beides) + generell hohe Qualität + Steckverbindung aus einem Stück gefertigt, was Haltbarkeit erhöht + sitzt fester an Gegenstelle als viele andere Kabel + Übergang Kabel-Stecker ist stabil und verstärkt (was bei vielen Kabeln die Schwachstelle ist) + Matte Oberfläche, somit keine störenden Reflexe + Gute Biegsamkeit - Kein Kabelbinder (Wäre bei 2m sinnvoll. Man kann aber natürlich einen eigenen verwenden, vorzugsweise der auch geöffnetem Zustand sich nicht löst)

I needed a longer cable to connect my Mac Studio to the Studio Display and as this was on a discount I bought it. The Apple version is way too expensive, I don’t attach anything to the monitor and basically it does the job perfectly.
