Yes. That is the speaker I have and it fits perfect. I also holds a power cord and has a slim webbed pocket on the top inside cover that could hold some small papers.

what type of nano or other wireless devices are recommended to go with this speaker

I have an I pad mini and a pandora account. The speaker is so good on the bluetooth, I can walk at least 500 feet away from it and still get perfect reception. The sound is great and the charge lasts for days. and when it goes low on the battery it charges back to 100 % in an hour. I bought the bright orange one because it seems like the kind of thing that could disappear if you turn your back. All in all, I love it! and I listened to a bunch of them. The Clipch was the best but $ 400.00 was too pricey. I am really satisfied with my Bowes. I saw on E bay that they have a few rebuilt soundlink 1's Cheep $$ but they do not have half the sound quality as this one. I recommend that you get the case as well. it comes in handy because there is no handle. Good luck ! I hope you enjoy . : ))

Will the Bose Soundlink II fit in this?

Fits great. With the II model there is the speaker itself along with a short USB chord, and nothing else. The chord fits into the netting. Nice case...no issues.
