2001 LX470 - Great alternator- Had to change harness connector
I have a tan connector that looks exactly like the white connector that comes with the product. I ordered a new replacement white connector and used the original pins on the connector for a valued replacement for an alternator that has 182K miles.

DON’T BUY Electrical. Dangerous out of box failure.
This alternator could have started a dangerous chemical fire on my 1999 lx470 if I was not paying enough attention.Spent 2hrs installing and now I’m out time and money. Don’t buy this alternator they don’t test them. I’m returning the one I got but they will likely just re box and and send it out.Also the 12mm bolt for the bracket to secure the wires is the power and sensing wires to the side of the alternator is the wrong size. The OE Denso part is 12mm while this piece of junk is 10mm so you’ll need to source a bolt.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.Update: I have received my refund and purchased a refurbished Denso Alternator from Oriley and installed it. It’s Working Great. The Refurbished Denso at Oriley is exactly what you need and it’s $160 after the core charge. DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE! It could burn your car down.
