If I am interested in a subject or product, I do a lot of research as I am a ghost writer by profession for numerous authors. My clients depend on me to do my homework. To begin with, we have had this water ionizer working in our home now for about a week and we love it. There are a multitude of benefits listed for drinking alkaline ionized water and you can find articles all over the web. You can also find a lot of overpriced machines. Most units appear to be well made, and there are many reasons given by each company why they are the best, but value and price do not add up in this fairly "new" emerging industry. As a case in point, I remember when my neighbor bought his plasma TV after the technology had just been launched and he paid nearly $10K for his TV. Water ionizers appear to be very much the same. After considerable study, the two things we determined that were common among all alkaline water ionizers were pH levels and ORP. We read all the specifications on all the web sites for all the brands. One thing we did not want in our water was additives. So the machine we wanted to purchase needed to be chemical free. We also wanted to be assured that the plastics were BPA free or FDA approved. We found both these features with the Aqua Ionizer Deluxe 7.0. We decided to buy a tester for ORP. I'll warn you that there are many of these ORP testers and most are tricky to work with according to people I have spoken with. They need to be cleaned in a solution and brushed with ultrafine sand paper. When I explained to some of the makers what we were testing, they were honest and told me that their devise would not work at its best for ionized water. After speaking with a rep, I chose the "Pinpoint" ORP meter, which cost was about $120. Our goal was to reach a standard drinking water at about 9 to 9.5pH and get a negative (-) ORP of about -250. From what we have read about the antioxidant factor ORP, this would then be a great level for our drinking water. I don't necessarily recommend you purchase an ORP meter to prove that the Aqua Ionizer Deluxe 7.0 works, but I did and it does. Remember, I do research for books for a living. ORP and pH Testing I can tell you that we were more than happy when our tests revealed that our standard Los Angeles tap water (our water started at about a pH of 7 and the ORP was a positive +135) flowing through the Aqua Ionizer Deluxe 7.0 shifted to a 9.5 on the "daily drinking" setting and gave us a negative -450 to -475, better than what we had hoped for. We then tested the highest setting, which is for "cooking," and got an 11pH and -815 ORP. Yes, we didn't get the advertised -850 ORP, but these meters are never 100 percent correct, so that was good enough for us. When speaking with the manufacturer, they recommended that since we are on LA city water that the internal activated carbon filter would be adequate. We found the filter to be fine for our source water. However, they do have other filter options if we need them. We also found out that the Aqua Ionizer Deluxe 7.0 can be set up under the sink with a low-cost kit. We may consider that for the future. Summary If you're like me, looking for a good value, good product support (from the manufacturer), Amazon Prime benefits and want to trust someone who does his research, then I highly recommend this very user-friendly Aqua Ionizer Deluxe 7.0 water ionizer. We bought this ionizer 9 month ago and LOVE it! Best choice we ever made as we researched these type of machines for 6 month and I read many reports, books on why and what not. Bottom line is that, technically to get Ionized water is a pretty simple technique, and there are machines out there that sell something that goes far beyond stuff that sounds important but the fact is I wanted my PH level to improve and it has. Within a week I felt a big shift in my whole health. I am recovering from several serious illnesses and am also Celiac. Therefore my immune system is severely stressed and absorbing nutrition is a challenge for my body. this water has helped 1000%. within a week my bloating went away, my skin cleared up and my energy is like it was 20 years ago. This is a very simple and easy to use machine and just the benefits of having 'acid' produced water for using as a cleaning solution is priceless. I also soak all my lentils and greens and so much more and the color it leaves behind is amazing. When my husband’s ACNE on his forehead, (he has for 20 years) finally cleared up within 5 month after applying acid water a few times a day, my daughter went out and bought her own and she is as happy as can be. She has recommended this machine to several of her clients since she is in the nutrition health science field. It works great for so many things, last week I woke up with a nasty bug bite and it was all red from scratching. I put on some ACID water and the itch stopped immediately and I forgot all about it. Within 12 hrs it was gone. So besides the benefit of getting Alkaline Water and hydrating your body truly for the first time this 'magic bullet' how we call it in our house, can provide us we so much more. We recommend this Ionizer also because there is great customer support. The first thing when you open the box is a big paper with a phone # on there. Call for support if needed it states. I called a few hours later as I was confused on what to put where and of course I got the machine. (It was 10 pm.) I was too upset to even leave a message but the next morning I got a phone call from them, asking me if I needed help since they notice I called last night. Needless to say they talked me through this and that's why I bothered to give it the longest review I have ever done for a review. Hope it helps someone out there being overwhelmed with all the choices. Oh we have 1 friend and 1 neighbor who also bought the same Ionizer meanwhile as well. The neighbor is convinced it helps his hangover, or better not getting one, if he drink some alkaline water between. He tried mine for a few times and said this is worth getting the machine just for that.

I researched the numerous machines offered and wanted one that was portable, could move between houses. I selected this because of reviews and price point. When the machine was delivered, the first thing I noticed was that the water connection was for a "standard" faucet - all mine are designer with the faucet head convertible between stream and shower - so the connection provided didn't allow me to connect to any of the faucets I have in my house. (I later learned there is an "under sink" adaption but for about and added $85 but I didn't want that because of my needs for portability.) I called the 800 number provided and the rep, Greg, patiently tried to talk me through alternative connections - which, while very clear, didn't make any sense to me. But then, the rep noticed that my source call was from Reno. Greg, the rep, told me the company was moving to Reno the next week and that he would come by my house to look at the situation and see if he couldn't offer a solution. I was concerned that this time frame would not allow me to return the machine to Amazon within the 30 day return period and Greg indicated that if the time went beyond the return period, the company would accept the return for the full price. WOW, that was an assurance. Anyway, I put a notation on my calendar and the following week, busy with other demands, was pleasantly surprised when Greg called. Said he had made the move to Reno and the company was in transit but that he was available to meet with me and get the machine up and working. Long story short. Greg was able to thread the hoses through a soap dispenser hole in the sink (I gave up the dispenser which I rarely used anyway), connect the water to the existing hose under the sink with the standard connections the company had provided in the packaging, and with the addition of a shut off valve (about $8 at Lowe's) in the water line above the sink, had the unit in working order. While most of you won't get the personal service because of the unique situation I had, I was so amazed that Greg, as a representative of this company, went so far beyond the excellent instructions he offered over the phone, to make sure that I was able to connect the machine and start using it. Moreover, he assured me that if there were any questions or problems, to call and they would do their utmost to address them. So, if there were more stars than simply the five here, Greg and the company would get all of them for the service. Now for the machine. It's great too. I have it on a counter and it takes up very little space. The controls are fool proof, simple to understand and simple to select. I was concerned that in generating the various degrees of ph water that the converse of the selection drained down the sink. (This is the case with all the ionizer machines on the market.) This was particularly concerning since we live in a very high drought area. But not to worry - I found that I can collect the discharge water (in this case the lower ph or acid water) and use if for a number of purposes - like rinsing my hair and removing all the residual product (actually gives my hair more body) using it as an astringent, brushing my teeth, cleaning mirrors and wine glasses to give them more sparkle, watering plants, washing my dogs. So I use the alkaline was for internal and the acid water for anything external. I'm a neophyte to ionized water, only aware of the anecdotal comments, and looking forward to discovering the benefits. This machine is about a quarter of the cost of other machines and offers the same range of highs and lows for the ph levels. So it is so well worth the investment and the savings. Kudos to the company for the service and the product.

First I can tell you that my experience with this item may be different from many others but if we are talking about an honest review then I will have to base my review off of my own experience. The install wasn't too bad. I would say if you have ever put together Legos before then you can probably do this. Given of course that your sink and faucet is compatible with this unit. The interface is pretty good and simple to use. I do wish it had a longer hose where the water comes out but it was good enough. Also, I noticed there is a distinct taste with the alkaline water, I'm not sure if that is normal. So everything worked as normal for about 3 months then one day I come home from the grocery store and noticed the unit's screen was blinking like it was low on power or something. So I unplugged it and checked my outlet to see if it tripped but it did not. I plugged it back in and it wouldn't even turn on anymore. So yeah, it was good while it lasted. I will be looking somewhere else when I'm ready to buy again. You should probably think hard before making a decision to buy.

Excellent Quality Machine & Water! I'm very impressed with the top quality design, materials, and fabrication of this machine. I watched all the free videos explaining everything from how to test pH level (did I mention they will send you a free pH test kit upon request?) to the beneficial uses of both alkaline and acidic water. The owner's manual is comprehensive and, together with the installation video, gave me the confidence to try installing it myself. I am happy to report that within 10 minutes this arthritic grandma installed the Deluxe 7.0 and was enjoying the most delicious water I've ever tasted and the feeling of better hydration - as opposed to the heavy, bloated, unhydrated feeling I got from tap and bottled water. Operation couldn't be simpler! Just turn the water on using the faucet as usual: if you want regular tap water, point the Deluxe 7.0 lever downward. If you want alkaline water, simply turn the lever upward. I just leave the lever in the up position all the time. Yes, it is that simple! If you want acidic water for gardening or washing dishes, just push that button (or you can simply collect acidic 'waste' water from a secondary nozzle while the main nozzle is supplying your alkaline water. This is a new design improvement). The 7.0 washes itself after every use. There's not even a power button on this machine! The engineers behind this design obviously take pride in their product: they listen to customer reviews and continually strive to improve their machines to provide the best quality water with negligible effort or attention required from the customer. Summary: Having recently learned of the benefits of ionized, alkaline water, I spent considerable time researching the science, market, and reviews. I decided to go with this company because of their integrity and affordability. I chose this model because of its best value; lowest price for the features I wanted most. I couldn't be happier! This is the best water I've ever tasted and I am looking forward to feeling improved health with this and other steps I am taking (juicing, exercising, losing weight). UPDATE: I have been using the Ionizer Deluxe 7.0 for three months now and still love it! I will only drink alkalized/ionized water now because of the health benefits, great hydration, and smooth, delicious taste. I've had no problems at all with the product's functioning. Combined with my new habit of juicing (to get more vegetables and fruits into my diet) I am feeling healthier than ever!

We bought the deluxe 7 plate unit last fall via Amazon, arrived quick, awesome unit, highly recommend. I have pool testing chemicals since I have a hot tub and have tested a of of water sample, This unit does what they say it will. Since using the alkaline/ionized water, what we've noticed; Cooking with water from this unit make everything taste better, Coffee is amazing, even with oily coffee beans used to try to steer clear of due to having an undesirable aftertaste now don't matter other than they still clog my burr grinder. Personal health issues clearing up, My acne has cleared up 99%. I was finding urinating becoming difficult (I was about to go to the doctor for) but found was better immediately, and cleared up in 2 weeks absolutely no problem now! Dry white scaly elbows went away. A persistent sore on my left arm turned white, dried up, and took awhile but cleared up. Cuts seem to heal very fast now. I feel better. We foster Mini Schnauzer's, one of the two we adopted and have literally tried everything for, including Dinovite, california diet, vet meds etc.. (We haven't be feeding them dog food after trying everything, and we still won't put them on it anymore, we make their food but had been doing that for a long time prior to the alkaline water) Since the fall, after putting them on alkaline/ionized water, not one seizure, skin issues on him are diminishing, his dry white crusty nose has gradually turned black and moist. The other had two visits to the vet with intestinal problems, not since. Other changes noted; Both our adopted schnauzer foster teeth are now unbelievably amazingly white, it's funny seeing their teeth so white, they look like they have been whitened! They are full of energy, playful, happy and haven't had any other issues, other than the ones skin issue which has diminished greatly, maybe will go away eventually just like his nose has turned black and wet. I have had one issue with our unit, we broke the flexible water spout off at the top. It broke off right behind the o-ring, in front of the threads. I called the company, very nice people, was asked for a desciption of the issue and they sent a new part right away , no charge, did not ask for return of broken part or even a picture of the part. With the help of the instructions and the YouTube, I was able to install / setup in about an hour. Device produces great alkaline water, also have option for purified water (neutral pH). Customer service called me before it arrived and told me they'd be happy to talk me through the installation. Around 800 liters we started losing water pressure. It was a little annoying. I consulted the owners manual which indicates 4000-6000 liters expected life. We continued to deal with the low water pressure. I was planning to call and complain when I heard a loud click while getting a glass of water. I noticed the water had lots of black carbon bits floating around in it. They promptly sent me a new filter and explained that they'd had an issue with the filter vendor overpacking the filters. This caused me to question why they hadn't been more proactive. When I got the new filter, the device no longer worked. It turned out the explosion had caused the turbine to clog with carbon. They walked me through a reasonably simple procedure to unclog the turbine, and the device now works. The good price, good water, and good customer service keep them favorably rated. I do question whether the filter explosion has impacted the long term prognosis for this device, and I also wasn't thrilled having to fix it myself. Otherwise it would be five stars.

Have had for a week & love it. My sister had turned me on to the alkaline water in October. After a week or two I noticed a difference in my skin & stomach bloat was gone. Just felt good in general as did my husband who was weary at first. Started traveling 20 mins away to a natural health store where the cost was $30 a month for unlimited water. They used the Kangen machine which I could not afford. I found this one on Amazon that had an affordable price & does all the functions I wanted such as cosmetic water & higher alkaline for cleaning veggies, which by the way had no idea how much pesticides were on grape tomatoes (see photo below.) It came with a fluid to test the levels & each time the ph levels were spot on. Even tested the Kangen water I had left over versus my new machine & they were the same. Since I hate clutter I elected to hook it up to one of the faucets in our master bathroom. This way I can use for my face too. I have a bpa free jug I fill & keep up in the kitchen to refill water bottles for drinking. When we received the box there was info to order a under sink part but for now I'll just leave on counter. Highly recommended if you are like me & don't have $3k to spend on a machine but still want the benefits of drinking alkaline water. Installation was easy. We had a question during installation but there is a YouTube video that demonstrated the installation process so that helped. A day after I placed my order online a rep from the company called to thank us for the purchase & left a number for us to call with any questions. We wanted to know if we could run hot water thru the machine & it was not recommend for the 7.0 machine.
