I am doing my dissertation now and I find it is quite helpful for me as a second language learner to improve my academic writing style. Although sometimes it is a bi t confusing between explanation and exercises, it is overall worth buying.

This book is an excellent refrence item, something you might want to keep at your bookshelf. For non- native speaker this book just" puts things right".I would reccommend it to any begining researcher , especially to those, for whom English is not their native tonque. You will find here everything from paper organisation to grammar review.

I like this book very much. I bought a used one but quality of the book was clean. It is really good for students to follow its tasks and practice writing skills. I recommend this book to other people strongly. Excellent text book. Our school is using this book as a text book. It is not difficult but very helpful. Go for it.

A very helpful book. -1 star only because the examples are sort of old and short, and thus there is a gap from my real purpose. But still, it is a good book since the basic ideas it conveys are always helpful, especially for international stduents.

This is such a useful and handy book - one that I wish I had come across it earlier during my graduate studies years. Although the title is for graduate students, I'd strongly recommend it to undergraduates (and my daughter too in her undergraduate) who will be preparing for final thesis or final project report.

Really improve the way you write, without to much hassle or arid grammar explanations. There are a lot of examples and also bad examples - and how they should be improved. It teaches you how to use online tools in order to improve your writing, without "copy and pasting"!
