Q: How does it hold up for offroad tires?

I've applied two coatings to 4 Goodyear DuraTrac OWL tires and two coatings to 4 Goodyear BW SR-A tires. The applicator worked better on the SR-A tires just because the sidewall is smoother with less bumps. The applicator still worked great on the DuraTrac tires but took more work to get the tire dressing into the letters without having it pool. It was also more difficult as towards the top of the tire there are blocky sidewall grips. Otherwise, works great for anything and the applicator is still solid, nothing has ripped off. I will say the applicator is becoming softer over time and with prolonged use the applicator will suck up some material and become soiled. I recommend this 100% as it's way better than using a towel or MF sponge as I have tried both.

Q: can this be used to apply wax?

It is not recommended because it is designed for use on tires and trim. I recommend our Yellow Hex Applicator for waxes and glazes!

Q: How long does this last?

Bought this last year in March ‘18. Washed for the first time last weekend with super clean(which is the shiznit). There was some visible wear but NO structural damage. I typically applied every few weeks with 2 daily drivers. The math says I have used this a minimum of 44 times! If you use tire dressings, this is for you! It stops over spray which really pissed me off, getting ride dirty right after washing. I use it religiously with Adams tire dressing, it soaks in some but has no issue getting soaked being that the Adams is more viscous. Thought about ordering another but would be dumb because still works like day one.

Q: how would you store it? grip up or down? or maybe lateral?

I've been storing it grip down in its own plastic bin/bowl where I also put the tire dressing
