Will this gasket fit a 4.2 kitchen pre cooker?

Robin,This gasket is made specifically to fit the Mirro 4.2 qt. model no. 92140. It's dangerous to use the wrong gasket on a pressure cooker. Close is not good enough.

Is the groved gasket measurement from outside to outside 8-3/4"?

On the bottom of you pressure cooker it will tell you what size pressure cooker you have. If you order the casket for that size it should fit on the inside of your pressure cooker lid.

Does this fit M-0294 4qt

It did not fit my pressure cooker, which I thought was a 4 quart.
