This review is for the EWK 6.5L manual extractor. I bought it to be able to change the oil in my Audi A5 Sportback. My car's oil capacity is 5.5 quarts with filter so this was a good size choice for me. I hadn't changed my own oil for about 30 years and I have to say it was super easy using this extractor. My filter is easily accessible from the top of the engine so I never had to get under the car to do this oil change. The entire process took about an hour and that includes driving the car for a few minutes to warm up the oil and then driving it after the oil change so that I could top it off appropriately, since my car has no dipstick and relies on my MMI system for fluid level check. Not a single drop of oil was spilled. While I changed into old work clothes I could have just as easily changed the oil in dress clothes, given how well this extractor works. It only took two or three pumps for the oil to begin moving into the extractor. This thing is pretty cool and it was actually fun to change the oil. Once the oil change was done, it was easy to pour the oil back into the original Castrol containers (the extractor has a nice spout on the top to use in pouring out the old oil) so that I can take the used oil to AutoZone for recycling. My only complaint is that the tubes are pretty stiff, and it took some time the night before the oil change to get them straightened enough that I could feel comfortable reaching the bottom of the oil pan through the dipstick. I'm currently storing them inside of some PVC pipe to keep them straight until my next oil change. If you're considering an extractor, I think you'll be happy with this one.

vide la panne à l'huile complètement et je ne vais plus en dessous parce que mon filtre est au dessus du moteur. Très bonne invention. Ce qui m'attriste, Je ne l'ai pas pris assez grand .

this is how it should be done... no more lifting the car and crawling underneath... should make oil changes in the winter a breeze now... go to the mall, find underground parking and it'll take 15-20mins to change the oil lol

Works alone, no additional equipment needed. Highly recommend measuring the amount of transmission fluid removed so you can refill accurately. I could not get an accurate reading off the dip stick until the new fluid had adequately drained from the dip stick tube. Had to purchase a length of plastic plumbing pipe and end caps to store and keep the drain lines clean. Satisfied with the manual pump. Should last a DIY user.

I've used multiple different brand of suction pumps and this one out performs all of them. Good quality product. Great for watercraft servicing
