When I got this number pad I noticed that when I typed quickly, often 2 numbers would be repeated, or worse an arrow key would be sent instead of a number. I tried changing drivers to no avail. Finally found the solution - toggling the numlock on my laptop (on my Dell Latitude this meant pressing fn-insert). Works perfectly now! The USB hub also works great - can even power a Logitech webcam.

Works great! It's nice and slim with a white design and keys to look nice next to my Macbook Air. All the keys work perfectly. It comes with a light up number lock button to switch the keypad on or off. Don't know when I would use that feature often since I would probably just plug the device when not in use. It also comes with two additional USB ports on the side which is nice. Overall, great product. Would recommend.

Really impressed with this numeric pad — the scissor‑switch keys are smooth and don’t clank like other numeric keypads.

Well I initially bought this to do some light accounting on quickbooks. I recently bought a new ultrabook that has no key pad like my old 17incher. I bought both this and the 201H and I liked this better. Better because it had smoother key operation and matches the ultrabook keystrike. HOWEVER, after just 3 uses the no.8 key doesn't work at all anymore so this thing is useless. OFCOURSE, the return policy expired three weeks ago, so amazon will not let me even access any buttons for returns. So I've contacted the manufacturer via email for resolution. If the quality is poor then I think you should skip on this item and its counterparts especially if the manufacturer is not willing to make a quality product or stand behind it. RECOMMENDATION: NO WAY, BUT KEEP POSTED. 7-24-14: Perixx made responded to the broken pad relatively fast and easily replaced it for a new FUNCTIONING one. I've been using it for months now and the pad is working great. I love it. I love the company more for standing by their product. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE PRODUCT AND THE COMPANY.

This product works perfectly and has been great for anyone that needs a 10-key attachment to their laptop. I love that it has 2 USB hubs on it as well. Love this product!

I have a smaller new laptop without a keypad, but I really need a keypad to enter in lots of numbers. This one is great because it has a "Tab" key as well as an "Enter" key. Very helpful with programs like Quicken. I'm not the fastest keypad person on the planet, but even so, the #2 key misses 4 out of 5 times, even if I slow down <--sort of ruining the whole point of getting a keypad in the first place. I did not return it because I already trashed the box. It's OK, a good size, and the other keys work really well...

What a great deal! I got this as an add-on item and I'm thoroughly impressed with it. It's not magical, but does what I need it to do and looks great doing it. I use it with my Logitech K400r. The Logitech has a touchpad instead of a 10-key pad, so this helps at my desk. Things I like most: Num lock button is far at the top and lit with an LED, letting you know the current state Tab button is a HUGE winner in Excel when entering information across columns Backspace button is a time saver when you have typos. 00 button for fast entry of whole dollar amounts Buttons are big and have a healthy click-feel Centering nub on the 5 button helps you find your location without looking. 2 additional USB ports on the side make this a USB hub!

Well I got one of these expecting it not to work, having read some of the other reviews but with the intention of applying the known workarounds should that be the case. We've just plugged it into our Macbook Air under Mavericks and ran Sibelius 7.5 (after going through the usual cancelling out of the Keyboard Assistant bit). According to my wife who is the Sib expert it works fine. Certainly it was changing the note lengths and tying notes as she was expecting. So there we are. Maybe we're born lucky or something. If this changes or the keypad fails in some other way I will update this review.

è la terzo tastierino numerico che compro. cli altri due hanno smesso di funzionare troppo presto. spero che sia successo perché avevano i filo retrattile, questo non lo ha. Mi sembra migliore e più robusto del altri e poi a due prese usb che con il portatile sono davvero utili. Prontamente riconosciuto sia da PC che da Mac, ha i tasti sensibili che rispondono bene ai comandi. Lo consiglio, s si romperà velo scrivo

Um die Sichtsteuerung des 3D-Grafikprogramms Blender auch auf meinem Notebook ohne Nummernblock vollumfänglich nutzen zu können, suchte ich einen externen Nummernblock mit USB C und wurde bei diesem hier fündig. Schönes Teil, Tasten haben ein angenehmes Gefühl und sind relativ leichtgängig, ein Plus sind die beiden USB-A Anschlüsse, von denen mein Notebook nur einen hat, der allerdings vom Maus-Receiver dauerhaft blockiert ist.

I use this product for my MacBook Pro and surprisingly works very well! Apple laptop doesn’t come with a number pad which I need for my daily accounting spreadsheet and this has saved me A LOT of time. Very responsive, easy to use, and buttons are nice and big.
