Q: I have severe scoliosis in my lower back. Will this pillow relieve some of the pain?

I don't know why not. I don't think its going to melt. I thought it was going to be much softer than it is. It's very firm....just thought I'd add that.

I never used mine in the car yet just on my chair. I think you wouldn't have to use the strap in your car if you didn't want to. Pillow shoul stay in position once your sitting.
