Totally awesome personal service! Totally awesome rods!
Hi Juli! Good news. I’ve finally been able to get out and do some fishing and use my Entsport Camo baitcast and spinning rods. To say the least, I am very impressed with them, and more than happy with them. Not only are they beautifully crafted, other anglers are quick to notice the good looks and fit and finish of these rods. I love that you can buy these rods in 3 and 4 piece configurations, which gives the angler the option of moderate/medium, medium heavy, and heavy actions from one rod. This allows me to quickly change the rod action to handle a wide variety of lure and line weights. AND! Once the rod is together with your choice of tips, the fit is so good, and the join so good that you can’t even tell the rod is two pieces. Amazing. These rods are so light it’s like fishing with Air Jordon! I have so far fished them with Shimano Stradic CI-4+ and Cadence CS8 reels in 2500 and 3000 size, as well as baitcast reels like the ABU Garcia Revo Max, etc., and what a wonderful, light and powerful combination they make. I very much like the design of the reel seat/lock on these rods. Not only is the design beautiful, but the lock has an audible detent that clicks as you tighten up on the reel, and this also keeps the reel seat tight where you have set it. No loosening of the reel as you fish! Lastly, I should mention the case these rods come with. It’s a good looking camo case that is quality made which includes an inner liner that holds 3 or 4 rod pieces and protects them from cosmetic damage. Realistically, if I wanted to go out and buy a rod case like the ones that come with the Entsport rods, it would probably cost me as much as the rod costs! I really like that I can keep spare tips, etc. safely in my boat or kayak, and quickly make changes for fishing conditions as needed. All is all I am very pleased with these Entsport rods. AS you probably know, I bought 3 each of the spinning and baitcast rods before I’d ever had a chance to actually fish with them. I have been very impressed with the level of customer service you have provided. Although I have had no issues with my rods (only my health) you have been eager to resolve any and all issues I may have. It’s nice to do business with a company that puts customer service and satisfaction ahead of all else. In closing I just want your readers to know that I’m not someone who doesn’t have a deep working knowledge and experience with fishing rods and tackle. I’ll be 73 next month. I caught my first fish at age 4, and have been hooked ever since. I was a rabid angler all my life, and when I began my career as a professional fishing guide down in SW Florida in the 80s, I had 69 rods in my closet. Only God knows how many rods I’ve owned over the decades, but I’ve owned many St. Croix Legends, G Loomis, and other brands, and paid a fortune for them. I wish you guys had been around with these great rods decades ago. When I pick up one of my Entsports and cast it, and look at the quality, I feel downright foolish for having spent $300 to $500 for rods in years gone by. Let me know if you want me to post this note somewhere, or if you want to post it now that you have it. Sorry it has taken me so long to do the review on your great rods, but because of health issues I was not able to get out on the water. I didn’t want to post reviews of your rods based on catching grass bass in the back yard!! Thanks for your patience! Capt. Butch Rickey The BarHopp’R

Great rod for the price, great customer support
BLUF: Great rod for the price, great customer support if something should go wrong. Purchased this rod and an accompanying bait caster reel to replace a twenty year old Shimano bait caster combo that had finally given it up. I was initially leery due to the low price and not knowing anything about the company, but the price and the positive reviews persuaded me. I am glad that they did! I initially used this set up with the medium heavy tip to jig for bass in lily pad covered ponds. The casting feel was great, overall quality seemed fantastic. The rod was more than strong enough to haul a 5.5 lb largemouth out of heavy grass with 17 lb monofilament, yet sensitive enough to tell when my jig was lightly scooped off of the bottom by a lazy bass during this spring's spawn. Overall I was very impressed. My only reservation would be that I managed to break the tip while casting. I was certain that this is where I would find the "price" of buying from an unfamiliar company. Again, I was very wrong. You can believe the positive reviews about customer service. Two days after contacting the seller, they are sending me replacement tips. I have a garage littered with old reels, rods, etc. that need a part replaced that is no longer available. Thank you Entsport for supporting your product and customers.

Surprisingly good pole for bait casting reels. A little fragile
Have this paired with an 9:1 bait casting reel with 30 lbs braided line throwing a 2 3/4oz top water hard bait. Can easily cast 45-50yards with the medium tip, and that’s not at a 100% effort cast. Pretty happy with the reel locking mechanism on this rod. Works well and clicks when locked. Foam is a little denser than I’d like. Not much support from pressure there, but that’s minor (or so I thought) This rod really is not missing anything, especially at this price point Shipping via usps with the trump administrations attempt to defund the post office took 12 days for this to show up when it was supposed to show up in 2. Edit: rod broke after it’s real initial use. Shipping box was damaged so it’s most likely a shipping issue and replacement has been ordered. Hoping it’s just a fluke. Really like these rods

AWESOME ROD!! AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
So this past July 4th weekend, I took the children to a near by lake just for a fun day out. We stopped by Walmart on the way and I bought a beginner spinning rod combo with some free lures and baits. We caught few bluegills and had so much fun doing it. I thought why I did not fish sooner. But it never late to start right. Anyhow, I went back to Walmart and Dick's to pick up 2 more spinning rod/reel combos including one Ugly Stick. I'd been fishing at least twice a week since that weekend. Anyhow, I always find casting with spinning rod is not without limitation. I learned that baitcasting rod gives you more control and freedom. However, I did not want to spend so much money just to learn baitcasting. Found this rod and decided to pull the plug. This rod was reasonably priced and came with 2 tips. Like buying 2 rods for price of one. The rod was shipped quickly and arrived with carrying cover. I was surprised the quality of the rod when I received it, it appeared to cost more than what I paid for. Aesthetically, I looks like those expensive rods I'd seen at Basspro. I paired this up with Kastking Royale reel and been using for many fishing trips. This rod is very easy to cast, extremely sensitive. It's so light and comfortable to hold. Know I understand why I was having elbow and shoulder pain when I fish with those Walmart spinning rods. I caught about 8 large mouths with this rod so far and the largest is 2.5lbs. Overall, I'm so happy with this rod especially for the price I paid. This is my favorite rod right now and planning to get 2 more for different lures set ups. I wish Entsport also sell reels so I can pair with their rods perfectly. keep up the good works and keep new products coming SportMall.

Very Satisfied Considering the Price
I purchased this rod, the 2-piece 7ft Casting Rod w/ Medium & Medium Heavy Tips, to pair with my new KastKing Royale Legend Elite reel. This is my first real baitcasting set up, besides my dads old Bass Pro Shops Combo. I am very satisfied with this rod, especially considering the price I paid for it! If you are looking for a decent rod at a cheap price, I would highly recommend it. I mostly fish small ponds around the suburbs in TX and it has helped me pull in countless bass and a few catfish that decided to eat my TX Rigged Lizards. Depending on where I am fishing, I can switch between the tips, which is very convenient. In the spring, I had the MH tip on while throwing mostly jigs and heavier lures. Now that it's summer, I've switched to smaller presentations (TX Rigged soft plastics w/ 1/8oz Tungsten weight, Ned Rigs, and Wacky Rigged Senkos) and have been using the M tip. It's been really great and I haven't had any issues with casting any of the baits. Eventually, I will graduate to a nicer rod (and reel) that will give me more sensitivity and control, but for my first real baitcasting set up I am very pleased! If you are in the same boat as me or just want another set up, I would absolutely recommend it! UPDATE: Soon after leaving this review, the M tip broke while reeling in a ~2lb large mouth bass. Luckily, I've been able to get by just using the MH tip instead, but I do miss being able to use the M to cast lighter baits. Hopefully, the seller will replace the M tip, although it has been almost 6 months since my initial purchase. Will update this review once I contact the company.

I was a little skeptical.......
Purchased two of these for a fishing trip in Florida. Finally got to put them through some testing the last couple days. I do a decent amount of fishing, and I’m pretty picky about my casting set up. I was a little worried about this product from reading other reviews, particularly the tips breaking. These rods arrived in perfect condition, and I set both of them up with the medium heavy tip. I spooled up with spider wire 65 lb test on both reels. Casting....no problems. The medium heavy does have a good parabolic bend. Sensitivity.....pleasantly surprised with how much I could feel through the rod. Strength......unfortunately, I have yet to catch anything large enough to really test this aspect. However, I easily boat flipped several two pound fish with zero issues. The overall build quality looks and feels good. The reel seat is just about as close to perfect as you can get. Rod guides are very smooth. If you need a two piece casting rod, this is a good choice. Throw in the the fact that you get two tips, and this thing is a home run. EDIT......got into a 10+ pound bowfin earlier today. This rod handled it like a champ. I’m a believer in this product and ordered 2 more. Update- my next two rods arrived 2 days ago. One of the rods had both tips that were broken at the insert. Already have received the replacement rod, and it’s in perfect condition. I’m staying with the 5 star rating simply because of the speedy customer service, and 4 out 5 rods arrived in perfect condition. I still recommend this product.

Technology wins this one!
You've got to try it to believe it. I said 40 years ago I'd never buy a 2-piece rod. Well, the technological description and the easy price convinced me to try this one. Wow, guys! This rod is unbelievable! The medium (whippy section) piece has the most incredible sensitivity I've ever experienced in a rod. Whipping worms and small spinnerbaits up under docks, banks, trees, etc. - places I could never get to before is so easy and precise. I've caught big bass that I had no idea were hiding in these places. When I 1st used the med/heavy worm rod section, I was expecting the old fashion super firm worm rod with no feeling, but was I surprised! This heavier section has the sensitivity at the tip of the med. section. I could feel my worms being moved by the bass, or when they are falling before they get sucked it in to their mouth. I never miss setting the hook anymore. At the same time, this section is very firm and strong. It's strength shows up all of my older worm rods. I always feel confident I will bring the bigger bass home to me. It has so much leverage. The reel seat is perfect! When you lock your reel down, you know it's there for good. The high tech engineers behind this rod sure did their homework. I've already ordered a 2nd one. A definite "must buy"! Oh, and their customer service is superb! I had a little difficulty with the medium top end, and they were quick to respond and sent me both top ends as a replacement for my one that had a problem. I ordered a 2nd 3-piece casting rod and have since replaced two heavy $100+ rods with these two. My wife has also replaced two of her spinning rods with these, and loves them!

I caught one Bass on it...
Purchased this Rod back in 2020 and just used it for the first time last month. It's been in it's original box it arrived in all this time. Anways, I cast out a Texas Rigged Senko, and as soon as it hit the water, a Bass Crushed it! I immediately set the hook and the Rod snapped at the base, just above where my reel is. I was able to Reel in the 4lb Bass but, unfortunately the Rod is broken. I had heard great things about these rods and perhaps the one I received was flawed is what I figure. Actually purchased it as a replacement Rod in case my Ugly Stik ever broke and last month, it did just that. Wish I could write a better review but I have to be honest. It's to late to return it and now I'm looking for another replacement. Moral of my review...If you buy a new Rod, try it out as soon as you get it to make sure it isn't flawed so you can at least get a replacement or a refund.
