It's much better than using a manual travel toothbrush and dislodges more ...
I bought this toothbrush months ago in anticipation of a trip in October. I just returned after using this brush for the past 2 weeks. I use an electric toothbrush at home and was pleasantly surprised that this one measured up quite well. It's not as powerful as my regular one, but from the other reviews I wasn't expecting it to be. It's much better than using a manual travel toothbrush and dislodges more food. Its slim style let me add it to my toiletries bag with no bulk. I like the fact that there are holes in the top to let the brush dry in between uses. I used the brush at least twice a day for the past 2 weeks and the battery remains strong. I will bring a backup battery on future trips though to be sure I don't run out of power. The brush comes with 2 heads. There are replacement heads available that I wasn't going to purchase until I was sure I like it, now I will.

Good traveling brush
Slim and sleek. This toothbrush replaced my sonic care brush on a recent trip I was on. It took little room in my suitcase and the battery is still working a month later. It doesn't compare to a sonic care but it is better than a hand held toothbrush and I was happy with it's performance. It gently vibrates and I think it reminds me not to brush hard and let it vibrate on my teeth.

Great for travel
I like this small and convenient battery operated sonic toothbrush to throw in my purse or for travel. It's easier to carry than my larger sonic toothbrush and I don't need to lug around a charger to go with it. It comes with one extra brush head and I suppose when it wears out you can just throw it out because the price point is good. Rechargeable Sonic brushes are definitely a better long term investment for home use because you can purchase new brush heads and it will last you a long time. Daily use of sonics prevents plaque bacteria from multiplying. This little travel-size brush is a smart value.

Amazing quality, worth every penny
Best electric toothbrush I've ever used. The ones from the drugstore are trash, they die within a couple weeks even when you change the battery, probably from water leakage. This toothbrush has lasted me for months and it's super easy to change the battery and replace the brush heads. Very inexpensive for a great quality product. Not to mention, it's so cute! I got the confetti white design and it's the cutest toothbrush I've ever seen. I also love the slim shape and size, easy to travel with, etc.

Nice design, but under-powered
The design of this product is excellent for travel, or to carry in your purse. My last trsvel brush, which I had for several years, and which I left behind in a hotel room somewhere, was not nearly as slick in design, but the vibration rate was far more rapid, and didn't make me long while traveling for the super-duper Oral B I use at home. This brush, however, though it claims 22,000 vibrations per minute, is rather wimpy. I'll save it for my purse and look for another, more effective brush, for my travel kit.

Great Travel Toothbrush
I use a full size electric toothbrush but it and the charger take up space and add weight and the charger doesn't work when traveling foreign. This is a great travel toothbrush as it's small, weighs little more than the two batteries that power it, and the it seems to use little power as my batteries lasted a long time. I bought one for me and this year purchased two more for my brother and his partner for their trip to Spain

Great for travel and at home
I love these toothbrushes. I use one for everyday at home (I have a small mouth) and buy the replacement heads. I have another in a case for travel. I've had them last at least a year and it's cheap enough to replace it. I'd say in the past 8 years I've had 3 of them. Perfect to give as a gift for a fellow traveler.

This is a Placebo!
This Violife sonic brush works so poorly compared to a Panasonic Sonicare, that I thought it would be fun to analyze the design to see what they are doing wrong. When I removed the head from its mounting shaft, I was amused to see that the shaft is a rigid continuation of the body (first photo). In other words, unlike a Phillips Sonicare, the head does not twist in relation to the body. Instead, this brush is rigidly attached to the handle. This made no sense at all. Then I thought perhaps they had cleverly made the drive a torsional mass oscillator that twists the handle in the users grip, causing the head to twist along with the handle, in which case a rigid connection might make sense. So I took the unit apart to examine the drive. Nope, it is a simple eccentric mass on a motor shaft (second photo), just like a vibrator--a very weak one, that causes vibrations perpendicular to the long axis of the handle. I began to doubt this brush effectively moves the bristles at all. To find out, I measured the size of the bristle oscillations at their tips. On a Sonicare, it is about 2 mm (when the bristles are vibrating in free space). On the Violife, no vibration was visible to a precision of about 0.2 mm (under 4X magnification). CONCLUSION: This is a placebo, no better than a manual brush.

Great travel toothbrush which allows it to be kept clean in a all sleek case. Comes with spare head (available for purchase to replace) and battery included. Purchase arrived within a few days by regular post in a bubble wrap envelope.

good looking travel toothbrush

Good: Travel friendly, Better than normal toothbrush, Reasonably priced Bad: Whole body of the toothbrush vibrates, Sharp edges hurt your palm - should have been curved.

Overall a good solution to the previous size problem of an effective electric toothbrush for travelling. Minus though is that the battery cover leaks if the unit is rinsed under a good flow. I need to check that it is dry after every use.
