Is this attached to the stand?

It is not physically attached. You can remove the guitar from the stand. The stand itself can stand on its own. I have the EVH guitar standing next to my 1950 jukebox. It looks great standing next to it.

I ordered one yesterday. i tried thru the evh site using amazon pay, it wouldn’t work. help?

I think it’s sold out on that site, try in a couple weeks.

Can you play it, by that I mean if you pick the stings does it make a sound?

If it’s like the Axe Heaven miniatures, no, it isn’t a musical instrument. If that’s what you’re asking. But, if taking your question literally, the Axe Heaven strings to move, so you can hit them, and they make a sound…but that’s about it. In no way shape or form is it a music note.
