Great box set with all the quality films to watch and value for money definitely recommend 😊

On buying this boxset the first thing you notice is the very poor packaging of Amazon u.s. yet again. I’ve had to send boxsets back in the past because of poor packaging from Amazon u.s. I don’t understand why the would send the boxsets all the way to the United Kingdom in a Jiffy bag. They do it all the time. Anyway this arrived undamaged (THANK GOD) it’s a very nice outer hard box which makes a nice change as far to often we are getting boxsets with paper thin cardboard and for the price you pay for these you would think alittle more effort would be put into them. In the box you get your 5 films in individual cases with slip covers on each one of them. I think putting the slips on them is a really nice touch. So if you wanted you could display them without the box although i don’t know why you would because the box is very nice. I read the reviews on this before I purchased it and a lot of people where complaining about the blu/ray disc of rise of the lycans being region coded. I just don’t understand why people would complain about that if you buy this set you buy it for the 4k not the blu/ray i mean if you want blu/ray you can buy the whole set for buttons. And to be perfectly honest I wouldn’t care if the blu/ray’s where in swahili I really don’t care about the blu/rays. If I had the option to buy just the 4ks without blu/ray’s alittle cheaper then that’s what i would of done. I’ve owned this set on dvd format and blu/ray and when I seen them on 4k they where a must have for me. I’ve just finished watching the last film. These are truly fantastic on 4k although very expensive for only 5 films. There are no booklets or posters inside of this set but for me anyway all the films having slips on makes up for that. I paid £146 from Amazon and I see they have none left now and other sellers are asking over £200 (SILLY MONEY) but where they worth the £146 I paid? That’s the big question isn’t it? TO TRUE THEY WHERE I LOVE THESE MOVIES. Just to note for anyone who hasn’t seen these movies and this is just a personal preference. Rise of the lycans is supposed to be a prequel to these movies I believe this is best watched first and after that’s been watched all the other movies just fall into place. From past experience lots of movies made as prequels are usually pretty rubbish but this I have to say is fantastic and is great if watched first.

A review for the 4K collection which was delivered yesterday (26/11/21) not for the regular bluray part of the set. Also, I haven't watched all the films yet! Therefore, this is a review for the 4K versions seen so far. Put very briefly then, the 4K disks are in my view awesome quality. For the standard bluray disks, testing for 'playability' only, they play as expected. As mentioned elsewhere, the Rise of the Lycans as noted elsewhere is not UK region so you need a multi-region bluray or, swap it if you already have the UK bluray! So far then, I offer a five-star rating (I haven't deducted for the region as I bought the set for the 4K versions.)

The 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray disc versions of these films have greatly improved sound and picture quality over the standard Blu Ray disc versions when played through a 4K ULTRA HD Blu Ray player and a 4K ULTRA HD TV with HDR (High Dynamic Range). Also this box set has all of the bonus material from the earlier Blu Rays and DVD`s ported over to it!!!

Great films at a great price but please be aware that there is no mention in the description that this is a Region “A” disc and won’t play on UK machines.

Tried to play it on my ps4 and all it read was....not playable in your region. Didn't work at all??

Rise of the lycans dosnt work

One of the most important data on a DVD/Blu-ray is the region information. Everthing else except the title is not important if not mentioned. Amazon still doesn't get it after all these years and thousands of complains of customers. Region info should be an required field when a seller offers his DVD's/Blu-rays. In this Box only four of the Blu-rays were region free. Underword - Rise of the lycans was not region free. That makes the complet box not region free. Also like other cutomers complained about the stacking of discs it is indeed again capitalism at its worst but that is not so to blame Amazon.

Man!! I finally got it! ;) and it's been an amazing jaw-dropping view of the films. The HDR in the films really does so well. The soundtracks are amazing. The first 4 Movies are 2K upscaled to 4K UHD HDR. Still shows some graining here and there but really that is not something that is in the way of your viewing pleasure. The last one is Native 4K Reading other reviews here, people are complaining about the set not being fully Region Free and in some players not playable. First of all: All 4K UHD Discs (worldwide of any movie, not limited to Underworld) are Region free. What's going on here is that only the (NON 4K) blu-ray 1080P disc of Rise of the Lycans is Region A Locked. Something Amazon should have mentioned maybe? A mistake by Sony? Who knows. But considering how everything looks in 4K UHD HDR I do not see this as a big issue. Subtitles: Not a big fan of subtitles myself but do have to mention that there are NO Dutch (Nederlands) Subtitles present. Another thing Amazon doesn't mention correctly on their sales chart. But All things considered and what I already knew about the set after watching a few reviews before buying this it's an Amazing set and I'm blown away by the quality of all the movies. The Art is a nice touch and doesn't feel cheap at all. And the covers around the actual case are not unwelcome too with beautiful artwork. A true must-have for the underworld Fan.

Boxset came in perfect condition and on time, however when it came to watching the 3rd movie it says that my blu ray player can't play it because of region locked yet all the rest works no problem. Very disappointing

Awesome boxset, basically the same set as in the US. It even includes codes you can only redeem in the US ;) All movies have english audio and most even a German audio track on the 4k discs.

J’ai beaucoup aimé underworld je ne connaissais pas du tout cette saga, je suis pas très vampire et Loup Garou, mais il faut comprendre que c’est plus de l’action que de l’horreur et là ils réussissent à réinventer le genre . C’est tout simplement super c’est un peu dans le style de Blade
