Sentinel // The Complete Collection

Unable to locate any digital downloads for this old series that I loved so many years ago, I picked up the DVDs. They lived up to expectations without question. I still love the show despite it's dated technology and silliness but, honestly, if I wanted 100% believable viewing I'd stand on the street corner and watch the world go by. It's a fun show and the discs were packaged well and arrived undamaged. I've never seen so many blue eyed people in any one place at the same time...but that may be due to my being a minority from Texas - not a whole lot of blue eyes down this way.

I forgot how much I enjoyed watching this when it was first on. Really glad they finally released the full series on DVD. It looks great. Lots of action and enjoyable character relationships. If you like action or buddy cops sprinkle in some mystical mythology and you’ve got a series that ran 4 seasons. From the exciting pilot to an actual series finale with closure, this show is a great binge. CAN’T RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH

As a long-standing TS fan, I was thrilled when the box set FINALLY got released, and ecstatic when I got one. The quality has been great so far (at this point, I'm about halfway through). There have been a few glitchy moments, but I attribute that to my several-years-old device more than to the DVDs. I'm taking a star off for the presentation, specifically with the way the synopses are given. They're printed underneath the plastic that holds the discs, which I'd never actually seen before in a box set. I understand that it may have been more cost-effective to print them that way, but I'm someone who has always enjoyed reading the material that comes with entertainment media - be it lyric sheets, liner notes or whatever. I like booklets. From a practical standpoint, any information added to a disc set is just easier to read in a book format. To have to remove the discs, then tilt and turn the box to see around the little notches that hold the discs just to read the plot line, while not a deal-breaker, is annoying. I appreciate not having to pay an arm and a leg to watch one of my favorite shows, but I would've spent a bit more to have a little classier product.

I only vaguely remember this series from back-in-the-day when it was on television. But it sounded interested like something I would watch. The series is better than I was expecting, still a bit cheesy by today's standards - but watchable. I'm only about one season in and haven't experienced any issues with the DVDs. The case these discs come in is one of those giant multi-disc clamshell cases, which works for me. I like how compact those are and how little room it takes up on my video shelf. I'm happy with the show and my purchase.

This series had a small core of serious fans, but by and large, it really did not get the love it deserved. 3.5 seasons of interesting,character-driven TV. The premise was interesting (a cop who -while a Special Forces Officer alone in the jungles of Petu, developed the gift of hyper-sensitive hearing, vision, taste,smell, touch, now struggles to master his new gift with the help of an anthropologist). What makes it interesting is the relationship between Jim (the Sentinel/cop) and Blair (the anthropologist). A cool and underappreciated series.

Love this series about an ex-ranger cop with naturally enhanced senses and his hippy- hipster grad student consultant who helps him manage his nascent talents. Love the characters and the actors who play them. The writers sometimes go a little overboard with their need to prove that the partners are attractive. Too many instances of their guest-starring characters falling for them in no time at all. Transfer is excellent, delivered as expected.

The disk set arrived quickly. I didn’t have time to start watching it for a couple of weeks. When I did, all of the disks were good except for the first disk which wouldn’t read. I contacted the seller and they shipped out a replacement disk immediately that was perfect. They were really quick to fix the problem and left me a happy customer. I enjoyed The series when it ran on television and this disk set met all of my expectations and memories.

I enjoyed this series when it was first introduced on TV as a weekly series. Having the complete series I can follow this action at my pace and can go back to check information. At the time of production the TV action was great, it now seems to be very simple but rather enjoyable without all the special effects now available. More realistic.

Ware wurde wie angeboten auch geliefert, mein Tipp : auf den Regionalcode achten, DVDs mit Regionalcode 1 (Canada,USA) werden auf europäischen 'Stand-Alone-Playern' nicht abgespielt, allerdings laufen die DVDs auf einigen PC-Laufwerken, das kann ich bestätigen (ASUS Laptop RoG-Serie, BJ 2010), daher klare Kaufempfehlung

I watched this series a while ago and I must say I didn't expect to find it in a boxset! It brings back a lot of nostalgia, and although I had to buy another dvd player to play it (I live in the UK) I'd do it again in a heartbeat just to see it.

Good tv show. Saw it years ago when it aired. Still enjoyed it all these years later. DVD quality was very good considering the age of the show. Priced very good as well
