Question only for those that have had exposed to weather for at least 6 months - still water proof and still not torn, straps in good condition, etc?

No. I had mine less than a year and it is exposed to all elements (sun, rain, snow, etc.) and it has torn. Some of the straps have broken also. The cover had only been removed maybe half a dozen times through the course of the summer. Tears did not occur through human error or removal/installation.

Has anyone ever used this to cover a swing set?

Good cover, but Probably not tall enough to cover a swing set.

Does it work for half moon sectionals too?
