I gave this to my husband as part of his Valentine’s Day gift. It is a cute idea because it gives you questions to ask each other. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because some of the questions are not great. But overall I’m happy with it.

Marriage saver! We've been picking one card a night at dinner. Let me tell you! It's changed dinner conversation. Before these cards we were talking about the idiots at work and other stressful things about the crazy world we live in. I work in healthcare and just survived working through a pandemic so I'm somewhat disenchanted with humans at the moment. The cards and questions have redirected our conversations to more meaningful and thoughtful conversations. My husband is learning to think deeper instead of quickly saying, I don't know. I love this. He now looks forward to "The card"! Buy them.

It's definitely smaller than I expected, even after reading about the sizes haha just looks smaller in real life. Like a lot of other reviews, I was also wishing the box was a little sturdier, but it's ok and does the job. Great little set, though. The questions are good, and there is a good range in them. I like how they are separated into levels of depth, so we can choose how intense we want our conversations to be, and we can feel comfortable using the white (and most of the blues) with people outside our relationship. It's been a good purchase, and a good conversation enhancer with my spouse!

I got these thinking they'd be a little more light hearted for even new couples. I just started the dating scene after a 10 year break and wanted some conversation starters. Well I've been using these with a guy I've been seeing for a month and I think we both enjoy answering questions. It's really helps us feel comfortable communicating clearly from the get go. Some questions are definitely intended for long term couples so we usually just find a way to modify it and make it relevant to our situation. I've loved going through them. It brings up things you may not have thought about. And gives you the opportunity to discuss things that are hard to bring up in normal discussion.

As a counselor, I am always looking for items to add to my therapeutic toolbox. There were some good questions and not-so-good ones. Many of the cards would not be suitable for use during a counseling session (but may be appropriate for a couple's homework). The cards are a good way to begin some conversations, but most of the questions can be obtained from a simple Google search. The cards are also very small which makes them more prone to losing or misplacing them. I think the cards are expensive for what you get (especially if you are tossing out or not using some of the cards due to inappropriateness, uninteresting, or being irrelevant to the demographic).

My boyfriend and I have been doing long distance for 2 years & we pull cards once a week if not more! We love how these have different themes! I feel like the questions are open ended & feel like they could be used again in another year or so.
