The best solution to dispense pills on time. Relief and peace of mind
My mom has some memory issues and it started to be challegining for her and us to keep the track of the medicines she must take, she was either taking double doses, not taking them at all or sometimes taking them some hours later than she should. Due to that, I started calling her on a daily basis at the time she had to get her pills but it was just as frustrating as stressful and nothing seemed to work properly until I found this device. It literally changed our lifes for good, it works perfectly, the alarm goes off at the correct time without missing a dose. The way this device is designed makes sure the person actually takes their medicines: it rotates delivering the pills at the right time without any room to fail, the person just have remove them from the dispenser by putting the device straight up, thats the only way the alarm turns off which is great because it reasures the mechanism. The only aspect that could be improved is the alarm volume that is a bit low at least for my mom but she has major hearing limitations, however she is by now, already well used to wait for her medicines and take them from it. It has given me the freedom and tranquility that I had lost before.

Great for elderly.
This is wonderful. It allows us to set my father’s medication for a week without concern of him taking too much or too little, which happened in the past. It beeps when it’s time to take the medication, and he loves it so much easier than a traditional pillowcase and functionally. He doesn’t have to open anything with his arthritic hands. It also has a lock, so he can’t access the medication early. Great all the way around and his caretaker loves it. I highly highly recommend this if you have an elderly parent who is on consistent medication and having a difficult time with that timetable.

All in All A Big Piece Of Trash
This "locking medication dispenser" is a cheaply made piece of trash. Sure it does rotate on schedule when the alarms are set but the keys? Where do I begin with the keys? First, the ad says two, I received one. Not only is it NOT a key because my 4 year old opened this thing with the tip of an ink pen (GREAT SAFETY FEATURE THERE) second the key is just basically a hex nut and the first time I locked it the teeny tiny screw fell out and I had to reassemble this piece of garbage myself. Second, the ad states it comes with four AA batteries, I received NONE. I had to go out to the CVS and buy freaking batteries. So, aside from non locking keys, no child protection or safety measures it is the size of a dinner plate, meaning that if anyone wanted to steal my medication all they have to do is tuck it in their purse and walk out. A cheap hammer later and it can be opened. I am returning this for a FULL refund because not only did you screw me out of $70 but you put my children at danger, cost me extra for batteries and only provided one key and your site says additional keys are about $12. I love Amazon, I get many great products from them but this one I would recommend you no longer sell because it is garbage.

Has been a real wife saver!
My wife takes several different kinds of pills/vitamins twice a day; once in the morning and once before bed. It became such a routine, and sometimes she was so tired in the morning or evening she would accidentally take the wrong pills, forget to take her pills, or take them twice. When that happened, it would have an extremely negative effect on her quality of life. After one recent week where the wrong medicine was take 4 times, I thought there must be a better solution out there! I found this, and several extremely similar products. This one was a lot cheaper than one of the other leading brands. I bought this one based on the lower price but was honestly surprised at the quality of the product and packaging. Everything feels very solid and high quality. Setting it up was easy, using the included instructions. Don't lose it because you may not be able to figure out how to change the clock and scheduled without it, it is not very intuitive. In our house, we don't use the audible alarm so I have it set to mute, but the beep is pretty loud. It is a very high-pitched beep, though, so someone with hearing loss might not be able to hear it. In our case, she doesn't need a reminder, but the fact that only the correct dose is available in the chamber at any given time has completely eliminated the problem of taking the wrong meds or taking it twice. She has forgotten a couple times, but even then at least we're able to see that and verify what happened and when it happened. To dispense the pills, you need to lift the entire unit upside-down and shake the pills out which can be a little awkward. A couple of times she missed one of the very tiny pills that didn't shake out and was not visible without standing over the hole and looking straight down into it. With my wife taking 2 doses daily, this machine holds a 2-week supply. It includes labeled "wheels" for different kinds of schedules. Overall I have no complaints, it has been well worth the money to reduce her suffering and simplify her daily routine!

Peace of Mind
This thing was recommended by my mother-in-laws doctor. She had not been taking her medications consistenly due to some advancing dementia, and was suffering for it medically. This is easy to fill and works beautifully. She was confused by the word open on the latch (that is for when you unlock it, you press on the open button to access the tray inside to refill it). I covered the word open and she now slides the little dispensing door with less confusion. We can double check when we are there that no doses have been ignored, and she can't get to any "extras" as it only advances as you have set it up to do so. It has been worth the cost for sure. Luckily she only has meds once a day. Though, it would work for multiple doses very readily. A bit cumbersome to set alarms, but doable. I hide the key so she can't "help" refill as she sees it getting low. We see improvement in her health now that she is more consistent with meds.

EASY TO USE . SORTA
What I like about this one is that it reminds me exactly when I'm supposed to take my meds at the right time so I don't forget or skip any of the vitamins or ibuprofen. Not hard to use but if you take more than four sets of meds a day (four different time frames) ,you're not going to get a 7-day period to load for. That's the most days you can do it for more sets a day but it just won't come out to 7 days worth. It'll be maybe 3 days or 4 days . Comes with an easy to use lock on the bottom. You turn it over to empty your meds into the palm of your hand or on a table top whichever you choose. By inverting it to pour it into your hand that silences the alarm. I did not find any of it difficult whatsoever . READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IT'S BASICALLY LIKE SETTING ONE OF THOSE NEW DIGITAL WATCHES THAT YOU GET YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A CERTAIN BUTTONS THAT SET CERTAIN THINGS DO IT EXACTLY AS THE LITTLE BOOKLET SAYS READ THE LITTLE BOOKLET FIRST DON'T TOUCH EVERYTHING AND PLAY WITH STUFF READ THE LITTLE BOOKLET FIRST THEN IT WILL MAKE SENSE. Comes with kí thedifferent little paper rings so if you take four sets of meds a day you CAN load it for 7 days because there is a total of 28 slots. What changes is the little paper ring that you put down on it they give you several whichever one matches YOUR situation within 28 slots . If I had to take a lot of meds say over eight different sets then I would just buy another one of the same model here because it's one of the best ones I've used so far nothing falls out on the floor or gets lodged so far. Heads up to people who have large fingers or thick fingers you would have a very hard time getting down into these little individual med slots but you really don't have to since you're just dropping them in from above it into the slot and then turning the whole thing over when you're dispensing the ( after it's of course closed and locked) and it has rotated the next slot over, then YOU slide the little window open and turn over the entire little machine into your hand and pour them into your hand or on a table top. if you have somebody who's not terribly coordinated or doesn't do well holding on to bigger things that could be a problem for them. This one hurts my fingers the least I have no cognition problems I just keep forgetting to take my second set of ibuprofen and potassium, D3 etc.

Helps with multiple medication’s and doses throughout the day
My father had Parkinson’s and my mother was in early stages of dementia, starting to forget things. One of the things they had trouble with was remembering to take their medication’s. This dispenser helped greatly because it had everything for multiple doses throughout the day already divided out and the little alarm to remind them to take them and what to take. I wish it was a little louder because they were a heart of hearing, but for the most part, it definitely helped out and it’s a great idea. I wish I would’ve known these existed sooner I recommended especially for those who take multiple medication’s at different times throughout the day. It can be hard to keep track of and this does definitely help.

Medication dispenser
We've had this for just over 6 months and has a glitch in it. Where time keeps going out. It's been wonderful up until now to help my sister-in-law remember to take her medication.

Lock is a bit fidly
Works really well for my dementia mum still able to be living alone. Great for people who forget whether they've taken pills or not. As it only allows for 1 day at a time.

Excelente producto
