Avantree Opera

These are better than I expected. They came already paired so all I had to do was plug them in and connect the supplied optical cable to my TV. I needed to set my TV to PCM mode for them to work as noted in the instructions. I find them comfortable to wear and easy to use. I bought them because I'm hard of hearing and I find them loud and very clear. The speech mode is particularly useful when listening to programs which otherwise seem muffled. The battery lasts for two or three days listening. The noise cancellation works quite well although I don't have a lot of ambient sound. I don't use the soundbar pass through although I can see how that might be useful. They were more expensive than some similar headphones, but they're well made and you get what you pay for.

Excellent, 3 listening options, cinema, balanced and clear voice which is our favourite. Very light, comfortable, has a mute, connect through base station or Bluetooth. All these options are on the headset. Ours is plugged directly into the back of a SKY Q box via the optical cable. For standard TV will work fine. If you find SKY cinema movies (for example) has no sound, on the SKY box, go to setting-audio and make sure the optical cable output is set to "normal", seems to be Dolby by default. That will fix it.

Excellent product, I am now able to listen to my television with first class sound. Comfortable to wear and easy to charge.

First impressions from the box are excellent build quality. I use this product while watching sport, listening to music videos on the TV without disturbing my wife in the other room. I'm using the "OPTICAL" lead provided for connection and the sound quality is excellent for both viewings. Setting up was very easy to do when following the simple instructions with all leads except HDMI supplied. When in use the tower has a pleasant green light at the base which changes to red when charging the headset, when put together they look very sleek. Another nice touch is when removing the headset from the tower to hear a message "TV mode connected" and the "Goodbye" when replacing the headset. The headset cushioning while not seemingly thick fits snuggly over the ears blocking most external noise which is totally illiminated when in use. I haven't used any other functions on the headset yet but I'm not expecting any disappointments. Very pleased with the product.

In all honesty, the bar of the headset broke at the connection after months of use, however, as soon as I got in touch with the company, they sent a brand new replacement headset, Rosally was very helpful sending instructions on how to return the damages headset, sending a box and free postage label via email. The product is brilliant and it’s good to know that the after sales customer service is excellent too. Special thanks to Rosally.

Did not come up to my expectations. Disappointed with the sound. I have Avantree Orbit pro which i use with my Bose headphones which to me gives a lot better balanced sound throughout. Not perfect but acceptable. Was hoping my purchase would give me a little more volume and bass. It did to a degree but was not easy listening. If used on Cinima mode the bass was to much and not balanced. Other modes did not work for me. Other comments seemed to praise this combination of headphones and bluetooth but to me disappointed.

I have found that these headphones are a great design and are easy to use. They are conformable to wear, for a long time and have a good quality sound output. The Bluetooth works well, with a good range and speak to you to confirm selections, battery status and connection. The manufacturer provides an extended warranty and you can book a call to help set things up. The base is easy to connect to the TV's audio output, with cables included. The headphones recharge quickly on the stand or separately and have a conformable fit. I would recommend these headphones for new or experienced users.

The Avantree Opera Plus headphones help me to be able to hear TV shows with clear dialogue. Comfortable to wear with my hearing aids. Easy to adjust volume while you are wearing them. Super customers service. After 8 months one of the switches on the headphones broke. I contacted Avantree and within a very short period of time they paid for all postage and replaced my headphones with a new unit.

Ne ero già convinto leggendo su Amazon, ma quando le ho provate non ci credevo: sono anni che non riesco a sentire più bene i particolari sonori, le voci, e adesso riesco a sentire i minimi dettagli con una chiarezza sbalorditiva. Ho potuto udire particolari che mi erano sempre sfuggiti. Io le consiglio caldamente a tutti quelli che come me soffrono questo problema della sordità. Io, oltre alla sordità ho anche un problema molto più fastidioso: soffro di acufene o tinnitus; si tratta di un fischio continuo che è come una barriera tra me e la fonte sonora, per cui mi perdo quasi tutto; ero convinto che questo non sarebbe mai stato possibile superarlo perché è un problema gravissimo per il quale la medicina è impotente. Con queste cuffie è completamente scomparso perché la nitidezza della musica e delle conversazioni è sbalorditiva. Dovete assolutamente acquistarlo e ritroverete la vita!
