Keyhole is little under 8 in. if you measure from the bottom to top, will I be able to mount these? Does this item come with screws that fit keyhole?

Can you attach a speaker that has a hole in the middle of the bottom of it? Can a hole be drilled in the plate if needed?

The plate comes with a hole already drilled on it. You just need to use your speaker bolt.
