Bull Insulated Jacket for 30-Inch Bull Grills (BG-47017)

I bought this unit to match the Bull Stallion grill for a outdoor kitchen I was building. This unit was easy the install and the grill fit perfect inside the insulation jacket. This jacket is built right and heavy duty for many years of service. Recommend

I used this in my outdoor kitchen build because the counter/cabinetry has a PNW-Cedar style. It's sized to the BBQ so be sure that you are buying for the correct size. I also used a Bull grill so I can't speak to how well it would work with other brands. Install was custom but not difficult. It has cutouts in the back and on the right-side bottom so it definitely helps to have a few extra hands around for the install or you risk kinking the gas line. From a performance standpoint, I've used my outdoor kitchen pretty heavily since the end of the summer and the outer edge of this has never even been warmed by the grill-heat. It also gets plenty of Washington rain and hasn't developed any rust.

The dimensions provided by Bull were exact, meaning no corrections on the frame were needed when it was delivered. It fit into the cutout like a glove and the insulation appears to be extremely high quality. This is a must if building on a wood frame.

Have ordered this product twice. Both times it has come damaged. Bent corner the first time. Bent along back edge the second time. Very disappointing. Haven’t decided on a third time.

Perfect fit for Urban Island 30” grill head. Seems to be doing its job. Not a drop in model. Requires sufficient bracing underneath to hold the jacket and grill head.design enables countertop to cover more area and look cleaner.

Bought the jacket for a 38 inch grill since I was putting the grill into a wooden frame. I'm paranoid, so I've used an infrared themometer to see if anything gets hot. Cool as can be and makes building your own island with a wood frame a snap. I can't imagine what more I coud want.

Broken weld on the front of the insulator. Doesn’t look great.
