CONTENT : 4.5/5 Don Carlo is a very respected coach and his accolades speak for himself. This book has many interesting stories about his way of coaching, dealing with different clubs, players and staffs. Best thing is that each chapter has a summary which has amazing lessons which are applicable in any job, not just football. Culture, language, communication, respect, ups and downs, everything is included in a very interesting way while keeping in mind not to make any chapter too long. Overall, it is a great read for all football fans. Must read. :)

Loved the read

Lovely, funny book about Ancelotti's unique approach to top level management - basically, it tells us how to create a family unit, an environment where out of love and respect for other members everybody tries hard without endless "carrot and stick" games. This might even be outdated romanticism in modern financialized top level football, but it is still very much applicable in small company environments. Plenty of fun stories from his long career are used as examples of his style. I doubt it is something one could learn - but if you have a similar kind of character, this can be not only a fun read, but also a useful manual. If you are longing for juicy stories about the rich and famous premier league footballers, there are endless other publications - this one will leave you empty.
