Vintiquewise(TM Old-Fashioned Small Suitcase/Decorative Box with Straps

I bought this box to hold a friendship necklace and some other goodies and sent it off as a surprise gift for a faraway friend; a 'no matter where we are, we're always together' themed gift and it's perfect! The box came quickly and was wrapped in plastic to protect the wood finish - no scratches, dents or stains. I'm not sure why some customers are complaining about some of the boxes coming in damaged but mine arrived in good shape. This is a box that you would expect to find in a store like Pier 1 Imports, if that helps give you an idea of the style. I just love the design of this box; it's simple and has a classic feel to it. It's perfect for housing photographs or keepsakes from your travels.

I really don't write reviews but I decided to for this. I purchased this Used but Good Condition so it was about $14. My plan is to use it for snacks at work. It fits 6-2oz rectangle containers with room on top for a few small pre-packaged snacks. When it arrived, it was slightly dull in red wood color and a little dirty on the edges. There was a crack and broken piece in the wood. I don't know when that happened but with a little cleaning and some Modpodge sealer, it looks brighter and new. It does bleed red when applying wet to it. The sealer helped fix that. The latches are decent for my taste. It has a vintage type look to it. I am very excited to use this for lunch and maybe even a clutch bag for nights out! It definitely fits my phone(Samsung23Ult), pad/tampons, pens, small lotion/hand sanitizer, lip gloss, and probably a few other things. I plan on adding something inside to secure pens and a fork/spoon for my lunch. If you want a unique bag small things or to use this as a decoration for small things, its a win purchase!

I got this as part of a gift for my Maid of Honor to ask her; it was a Newt's Trunk substitute with one of the creatures inside of it. Honestly, this little trunk is amazing! It's so well-done, a perfect little size, the clasps are great, and the whole thing is super cute. It was great for the price!

This item is terrible and definitely not worth the money. First, the material and "craftmenship" is awful. Next, the item is super tiny. I was hoping to use it for cards for my upcoming wedding but not sure even a small card would fit. Definitely disappointed and would not recommend.

This is perfect for the sole purpose for which I bought it. I use it to store the many power cords (i.e. for my cell phone, Kindle, iPad, etc) that up until a month ago where everywhere but stored away. I have it placed on an end table next to my place on the sofa. The design is what attracted me to consider this particular decorative storage box. Can make a great birthday/Christmas/graduation (I can keep going on here) gift!

Not worth the $17 I paid for it, more like a $10 or less item, but it's serving its purpose and not worth the return to wait before buying something else. Bought it to hold my cards, dice, miniature and pencils for D&D. Pro's: good size for my needs Cute and unique still works well enough Con's: cheaply made doesn't line up quite right one latch off a bit due to being misaligned when put together

It is the size of 2 decks of cards, be aware of what your ordering. I can use them for small storage and I like the look but a bit disappointing.

I bought this suitcase for Alice, my pug puppy for her journey to Chicago from California. It was used as a prop for photos I took along our journey. My mother’s pug passed away suddenly so on a whim my siblings and I got little Alice as an early mother’s day gift for my mom. I needed a small suitcase to be used as a prop to mark all our little adventures along the way. All this happened in a very short amount of time so I needed a suitcase quickly. I ordered and it arrived next day. Very fast shipping. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The quality is amazing and it is built very well. I highly suggest it as a puppy prop or as a cigar box.
