UGREEN USB C Extension Cable, (10Gbps/100W) USB C Extender 1.5 ft

It's a decently thick cable (good imo) that I chose over the alphabet soup brand cables that were rated twice as fast with 240w charging. I've learned not to trust those at all. They tend have issues with 5a charging on Samsung SFC 2.0 when they claim to support it among other issues. You get what you pay for in the tech world. Anyways, I actually haven't tested that on this cable.. that's not why I got this. I got this to give me more cable from my S22+ to my USB-C 8-in-1 hub. So I can connect my charger and my Ethernet cable to my hub, along with a USB drive (Samsung BAR 256GB) and not have the hub inches away from my phone. Ethernet works fine, charging works fine, data transfer works fine. It fits perfectly with my phone's case. Plenty flexible but still a nice, thick cable that should last for awhile and would lead me to believe it has good shielding and a decent gauge wire inside. Can't confirm wire gauge, though. I can't help but reiterate that I believe you are FAR better off going with a good brand for this category like UGREEN vs some brand with a bunch of scrambled letters. You just get better quality and a cable that does what it says it will do. I wish I had bought this a long time ago lol. It's made using my phone while connected to my USB-C 8-in-1 hub a lot easier and Ethernet + charging work through it with no issues. I haven't tested HDMI, yet, but I assume it'll work fine, as well.

Length: The 3.3 ft length is perfect not too long, not too short. Just what I needed to comfortably connect devices without crawling under my desk every time. Have been a faithful UGREEN customer for a quite a while now. I find their products are all of great build quality at a fair price and this extension cable fits that same description. I have a MacBook Pro with its clamshell closed on my desk. This laptop supports touch-id. Since I now can’t get to the button to activate touch-id, I attached this extension cable to a USB-C port on my CalDigit TS3+, to which my MacBook is connected and connected a YubiKey which I configured to use in place of the touch-id button. Works like a champ! Cable length is perfect - doesn’t get in the way and the quality of the cable is second to none. And bonus.. it can accept any other USB-C device I choose as well without having to reach toward the back of my desk. Very handy accessory to have — recommend!

I just received my new smart watch and needed to extend the watch charger. Ththe Ugreen Extension cable worked with no problems.

Works well to extend my usb-c hub with a 1-foot cable. I'm able to get my two external monitors through the hub, through the cable, and to my laptop.

The cable is well made but the male connector is too short to properly secure in Samsung tablet. It is not recognized on my Samsung tablet. Does not plug in firmly. It is not the fault of the cable. I suspect that it is unique to the requirement of my Samsung tablet. Update: I cut out the section of the cover for my Samsubg tablet around the USB C port. That allowed the cale to properly seat and it now works as expected tranferring date properly. In other words, the cable was not at fault it was the cover on the tablet that did not allow proper seating.

I needed a short extension cable to attach a USB-A hub to a new laptop that has only USB-C ports and ordered this cable on the strength of its reviews. It was flaky, and I was going to send it back, but when looking for a replacement cable, I saw feedback on another cable that said that even though USB-C cables are supposed to be omni-directional, orientation matters for that cable and to reverse it if you're having problems. I tried reversing this cable at the PC (male) end, but no joy. It still wouldn't connect reliably, so I requested and received a return, which was quick and painless, so kudos to this seller for that. I ordered a different cable that came in only a 6-foot length. I hated how long it was, but the instructions that came with the cable said to change the orientation of the FEMALE end, if the cord seemed not to work or was flaky. This worked like a charm! I reordered this cable and it worked just fine the first time I attached it, so I don't know whether reorienting the female end of this cable would work the same magic that it did on the 6-foot cable that I tried, but I wanted to share my experience just in case. I'm really happy with the quality, length, and performance of this cable and, should you not be satisfied with it, the seller made returning my first try with it a breeze. I absolutely recommend this cable and this seller!

Understandably with the amount of charging and information afforded by USB C, extending wires with quality is a problem, and I haven’t seen longer wires that claim to do this. This one, whilst shorter, does the job well.
