I bought this 5 months ago but lid has stopped working. Is it covered by a guarantee

Should be - have you checked the batteries are in correctly? Mine is fine so far!

Owners, How long do the batteries last please?

Hi. I got this for my new kitchen been useing it since 8th dec and it’s still going so quite happy. It’s a great bin. Luv it.

Hi, Does this bin come with an inner bin basket? Thank you.

No it doesn't. The bin liner is held firmly in place by the lid. It's a really good bin.

Does this item look "plasticy"? I really wanted a metal white bin but struggling to find one this size and shape.

It does a bit simply because it is plastic. But not in a tacky way. We wanted a metal one too but couldn't find a suitable size. We have just had a new top of the range kitchen put in and are happy to have this in it. I should say it is slightly off white too, not bright white.
