Best brush swords ever for this price.
Okay, so I have no clue why someone would give these machete a bad review. These are legitimate brush swords they are a type of machete. They are not fighting swords although they could easily be used for that purpose. I use these for their intended use which is cutting brush and doing topiary. They are only $17 for two which comes out to $8.50 each. This is outrageously cheap for any kind of machete. If they are to dull then buy a metal file and learn how to sharpen a machete. If you are going to actually use it then learn to sharpen it. If they hurt your hands then wear gloves. Real landscapers(and swordsmen) always wear gloves. Only amateurs don't wear hand protection when using a blade. If they don't have a magnet that is because there is absolutely no reason to use two machete(or swords) which are bound to each other side by side. I am glad they do not have the magnets because the magnets get in the way and are completely stupid. The sheath is pretty nice as well and comes with a a string strap that you can button around the hilt which is required by law in order to legally carry these in some states(unless they are with camping or occupational equipment). The hilts are not just showy but they actually protect my hands from being hit by brush while I am using these. And they are rather pretty ta'boot. Update: I was so impressed with the sharpness and durability of these brush swords that I ordered another pair. I would pay twice what these are being sold for and still consider them a bargain.

not very sharp and the handle is falling apart
the tip was very sharp but the blade was not sharp at all It could not even cut the cardboard box it came in and the handle was slightly falling apart it was pretty heavy but the weirdest thing about it is when you put the strap on the handles are heaver than any other part

Excellent purchase
When I saw these blades for only $25, I was like thereโs got to be some catch here. Thereโs no way that theyโll actually be good swords. So I bought them, just to see. And I was proven wrong. These swords are awesome. Theyโre full tang, extremely sharp, and feel very sturdy. The sheath isnโt quite as high of quality-at least the strap isnโt, and I wish it were longer-but other than that theyโre amazing. Definitely worth the price.

I love these
These are cool af. They're machetes for bushwhacking but they look like samurai swords. Each sword has a half guard so that they can be held together. It also comes with a sheath that has a strap that loops around the top and snaps in to keep the swords in place.

A solid product
I'm in love with these. This is a quality product. The blades are heavy, polished and arrived in nice packaging. The case isn't fancy and the strap is small but that's no biggie. The symbols and name is printed on the blades not carved, again no biggie. This was a great price and I highly recommend for your collection. I didn't bother take a ton of photos bc others posted and it is true to description along with post photos. Product also came in correct time projected. Happy customer here. Better grab yours before the price goes up or they sell out!

Pretty decent
I got these for throwing (I like to throw knives and sharp objects). They are relatively durable -- the hand guards fell off fairly quick. However, the blades were able to cut into 2x4s and were fairly sharp. The quality is on par for the price you pay. I would definitely NOT get these for a child because they are fairly dangerous. As for throwing, they throw well with a no spin technique (similar to a javelin throw). I stuck them in many different types of trees. I probably wouldn't buy them again, but they work well for what they are. Will be excellent for Halloween outfits. Fairly good for throwing. It all depends on what you intend to use them for.

2 halves look great on the wall as display. Can be weilded together, slightly thin individually
Really cool looking display item. Nice sheath as well but won't be used as this will be a display. Seems like a really good build quality and the graphics look nice. The two halves fit great on the wall as cross swords. Individually welding them is a little strange as the handles are pretty thin. As far as the cutting ability and functionality I can only assume from the weight that it would do his job as a self-defense sword. As far as it really cool looking display item, five stars.

These are epic
How can you not like these? They're only like $25 CAD and the metal seems high quality and they look so amazing. Definitely getting another set on payday ๐โจโ๏ธ Edit: I bought another set. STILL AWESOME!! ๐โจ

good for the price but watch out for the sheath (seriously)
for the price, its a very good set of short blades. theyre not very strong but that was expected for me (I was definitely not expected folded steel for example). if youre careful with them they would show some use, especially in ninja arts (ironically, hence the name of the blades). in an actual sword fight (god forbid) they would probably bend or break on sword impact, but the hilt would not spontaniously break mid swing which is a problem with display or improperly built swords, they do not flop during swings either. the sheath however is a disgrace, I would have given five starts if it werent for that thing. I damn near cut my hand open when the top of it opened up and the sword went through. its a good concept for a sheath however, all you need is 6-8 extra damn rivets its not costly to do, whoever is making these sheaths get the memo. sharp on arrival. have fun, be safe ah and last thing, those who are saying the grips are uncomfortable havent trained enough with swords. practice makes perfect, and the more you train with a sword like this the more it wont rip your hands apart. your hands will get used to it over time, theres not much sence in getting a sword that is super comfy as a beginner. my two cents

Lightweight but sharp
It's lightweight, meaning the blades can be bent, but the design & sharpness is impressive. The handle is bare metal wrapped with a "shoe lace" of sorts, so you might want to re-wrap it with something that gives your grip a bit more cushion. For the price, you get what you pay for so that's good enough for me.

Great for a collector
As someone who collects blades I'd say these swords were of medium to high grade workmanship and quality. To use them, practically thinking, I don't think I'd utilize them for much....other then slicing some vegetables ninja style to make a nice garden salad. But as for warding off zombies I'd say a heavier and higher quality blade would be more suitable. Definitely a nice addition to someone starting off as a collector or blade enthusiast.
