a pretty thin machine
I guess I should have known for the price. This is cheaply made. While the sides have moderately thick neoprene padding, the edges are made from a thinner material. But it's the edge of a laptop one most wants protected from bumps and dings. My Dell Inspiron 13 5000, a pretty thin machine, fit very tightly horizontally, but there was an extra 1.5 inches vertically, not really a proper fit. I'll be returning it.

Nice for the price
Nice for the price. The pocket has enough space for the charger. Provides good padding for my Macbook. Easy to carry.

Looks okay, but poor quality zippers.
Looks fine for the price and is functional. The zipper tab broke off after 3 months though on the side pocket! Return policy was only good for one month.
