LEGO Architecture Villa Savoye 21014

It really is hard to fault any of the Lego Architecture products, and this one was no different. (I own the the entire range.) Great design and some really clever use of the pieces to get some of the curved constructions on the roof of the building. I really enjoyed building it. Oh, and if you are wondering what the strange orange piece in the box is, it's to remove other small pieces. A very useful tool. Watch the YouTube videos on how to use it.

This is a great kit for my 15 year old son. He opened it and did not stop until it was done!!! It looks very nice and also educational. My son looked up the real place because he was curious. Very good hobby for teens who think legos are just for when they were kids.

Really had a lot of fun building this noteworthy home by the famed architect LeCorbusier. The finished model is a very good interpretation of the original. Probably somewhere in the middle in terms of price and difficulty compared to other sets in the LEGO architecture series.

My husband is an architect and kid at heart who loves to play with LEGO's still. It is great that as adults we have this LEGO series to hold us over until we have kids and can use them as our excuse to play with them again! He found that the design of this one was done well, he studied this iconic building while getting his degree and loved seeing how the LEGO desingers put this one together. We have many of the others sets in this series, but this one was his favorite. I bought it for my LEGO fanatic brother in law for Christmas.

My son has been playing with the Star Wars Lego sets for years and this year for Christmas he put a few architecture sets on his list. It took him about 4-5 hours to put this together and it came with a great book describing the architect the history of the building.

It was missing (4) pieces, but they weren't crucial to the structure. I emailed Lego and they said my replacements are on the way. Loved putting it together. Took me about 4 hours with no distractions. Well worth the price. Can't wait to get my next set!

I was excied to give this pricey Lego set for Christmas! The box looked like it had been opened previously and was scotch taped closed. I decided to wrap & gift it anyway. Christmas morning, the gift was unwrapped & openned only to find that some pieces were loose in the box --out of the bags, which was totally unacceptable!! It was a gift for my significant other (an Architect).....so what to do? He assembled it anyway and it became clear (at the end unfortunatly) that is was missing several pieces needed to complete it properly. Such a disappointment!

This one took a bit of time and he had alot of fun building it. looks like he will be able to continue to get a Lego at Christmas again....a tradition of ours from way back !!! Good price too !!!!
