Parts were compatible with my 1957 Kirsh mounting brackets.
My house had kirsh rods which were installed in 1957. Someone in the house took the insides out of all of the bedroom rods in order to put a different kind of curtain up. I ordered these rods expecting to do a full install. But it wasn't necessary. The mounting brackets matched up perfectly with the new rods. Couldn't be happier or more surprised. Well okay... I could be happier if the tensioners for the rope or metal instead of cheap plastic... But I only needed to use one plastic one. The ancient metal ones were still functional
