The product is slightly flexible, which is helpful when one of the surfaces is slightly curved. They last a long time.

We had a new toilet installed in one of our bathrooms. It sits on ceramic tile, and tiles being made the way they are, not perfectly conformed from tile to tile as far as thickness and uniformity of surface. After a couple of months it started to rock a little. I tried tightening the bolts, but being a little afraid to crack the porcelain on the bowl, I backed off and did a Google search for solutions, and we found this. I slipped four of these shims under the bowl, two front and two rear, and bam! Problem solved. Stays perfectly level, no more rocking. The fact that these are rubber is great as you can compress them a little into a tight fit. Highly recommended!

I should have checked the sizes before ordering, so that’s on me, but I was fooled by the clever photography on the description. These are tiny and thin, and the material they are made of is squishy, so they are hard to wedge under things-you’ve got to lift up whatever you’re placing them under. Which is not easy when it’s a heavy piece of furniture. That being said, they’d work fine for something small, and they have been sturdy so far, as well as being very unobtrusive. I’ll need to replace them with a more traditional shim at some point for my needs though.

Seem to work well

I used these for levelling some large cabinets and they were perfect for the job. You can use more than one together if needed and you can't see them due to their transparency.

These are great, I bought them to wedge under my desk to tilt it slightly back so it doesn’t tip so easy. Really strong made, grippy rubber but still soft enough to deaden sound well. They’re only small so are easy to tweak or even stack to get the levelling you need. Decent price and do the job.
