OOK Jumbo Swag Hook, 1 Set, White

This was perfect for my needs the finish was beautiful and contributed that little touch to my daughters room.

The hook is metal. Not plastic as the listing says. I screwed into wooden stud and it is holding my vintage 25 lb heavy swag light in place. If you're looking to hang a heavy vintage glass swag light, this is it.

excellent! Even goes through my stucco. Comes with the tools you need to install. All you need is an electric drill. It comes with the bit to use with it. Takes some muscle to finish getting it into the stucco but the wood portion of the walls were easy peasy. (I purchased 4). Used 3 for hanging plants ( one plant is on a metal frame and heavy weight) nd the other i use to hold up the clothes for display that I sell - downtowncali

I finally used this product after two years. My issue is that it is very difficult to judge the thickness of the ceiling. To fold the “wings” you have to leave it loose enough but not so loose that you can’t tighten it. You have no way of getting your hands on the wings to hold them still to tighten after it’s in the ceiling… needless to say, it was complicated. I had to take a flat headed screwdriver through the hole to hold it while I twisted the hook. Maybe there is some secret I’m not aware of but I couldn’t find any good videos of installation.

I like these, low profile but with nice details. Good for hanging things that are either far away or up close. Comes with everything you need you install except for the drill bit for hollow wall installation. This kit asks for a 5/8" drill bit but I can usually make it work with a 1/2" and some determination

While this hook is not metal it's made of some very durable resin / plastic material. It's large and heavy duty enough that it's been holding up a large and heavy, vintage glass pineapple lamp for over a year now. I would say the lamp weighs at least 5 fpounds. The hook is also strong enough that the person installing it for me simply gripped it in their hand, minus any tool, to screw it into the ceiling and it did not break. They said it was very strong and they likely could have swung from the ceiling from it themselves if they wanted.

Love it! I like that I can rotate it as I please to adjust the way I want my golden pothos to face. Cheaper options at Home Depot but the detail on this one adds an extra touch compared to the basic white ones from there. Up to you though! Home Depot has the plain ones that come with two for a little over the price of this one but again, they don’t have the added details.

Purchased because the specs shown on the packaging in the product image are 35lbs on drywall / 75lbs on wood. The product I received indicates 30lbs on drywall and 50lbs on wood. Inferior product was shipped.

This is the hook you want for your macrame plant hangers. This one has a open hook to hold your hanger, unlike many others that have a very acute angle such that only something tiny can hook onto it (see the pic on the right of another brand where I’ve used an “S” hook). Requires a fairly large hole to get the folded anchor wings into, but the base of the hook covers it well.
