Would this stop my head from hyperextended back?

although it says soft, it is quite rigid and holds the neck in its correct position, i have found that you cannot tilt your head too far in any direction allowing the neck to heal from any pulls or tears, hope this helps.

Can you wear this product while sleeping?

Hi Bob!I bought this on behalf of a neighbour, who still likes it very much.I have checked with him for you. But both him and his wife work in a hospital and they strongly advise not to use any cervical collar when lying down if it can be helped.This is because, although it supports, it holds the neck at a poor breathing angle when sleeping. Great for any other time EXCEPT when lying down.No doubt this is not what you wanted to hear, but I can only pass on the best advice I have.I hope that, in some way it helps with your decision.Kindest regardsMike

How do I know what size to order?

One size fits all, and is very comfortable.

Says about distance from chin, but no wher tochange it. need to be able to match neck diameter to height.

The height was a bit high for me but not too uncomfortable- it’s not adjustable.

Good firm construction. Size issues.

Like the design. My neck is exactly 15 inches circumference. Ordered the large for 15-17 inches. But it is too big sadly. These are quite firm, which is good to stop neck flexion. But likely hard to sleep in.
