Good for newbies, beauty makeup, light airbrushing
I’m a professional makeup artist, and I use airbrush guns for both beauty and special fx. I used this while working on a shoot requiring a full body paint on an actor. I used white alcohol paint and airbrushed the actor. The PSI on this airbrush was not to the strength I needed for full coverage quickly. It took a long time to fully cover her. What I will say, is this airbrush kit would be perfect for beauty makeup applications and for beginners just practicing. The compressor is not silent, there is a constant low hum, so keep that in mind. The airbrush gun gives a medium diameter in the spray so it’s not the best for fine detail but it’s good if you’re going to do some quick airbrush makeup on a model or client. That’s my take on this as a makeup artist. I definitely will buy a different compressor for special fx. IWATA is the best airbrush brand, quality is fantastic, just this one didn’t meet my needs strength wise.

This kit is really nice. The aibrush itself is legit it's internediate level and will see most mini painter or more for a very very long time. The compressor is loud but perfect for my light once per month work. I use it to prime and paint Miniatures. It does not have an airpressure regulator to know the psi so that's a con. It has no moisture trap. It has no quick release (this is cheap to buy on the side and most kits don't have them).

good kit just not for a beginner
Kit comes with all you need to get started airbrushing. Compressor pressure in low enough for model kit work. but doesn't go any higher then 18psi I believe but that's all I need for what I do.

Having problems after a wk or two
I did like it up until 2 wks after using it my air compressor sometimes doesn’t kickstart as shown in the video its on I’m spraying and I have to hold the trigger and mess around with it before air starts to flow through and it doing this while painting causes splatters or messes up artwork . It does this every other time I turn it back on to start spraying again . I thought maybe it was overheating but I don’t keep it on long enough and make sure it doesn’t get hot and nothing is blocking the back
